Dr. Brian Topping began practicing dentistry in 1998 and opened his own office in 2002, in Nappanee, Indiana. Dr. Topping believes in constantly improving his accreditations and education to maintain the highest level of care for his patients.
Dr. Swihart then received his doctorate from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. He has had specialized training in Invisalign and Implants and is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In order to provide the highest quality of dentistry to his patients, Dr. Swihart takes many hours of continuing education.
Dr. Brian R. Topping, DDS, FICOI, PC received his Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology from Ball State University. He continued his education at Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. Dr. Topping began practicing dentistry in 1998 and opened his own office in 2002, in Nappanee, Indiana. Dr. Topping believes in constantly improving his accreditations and education to maintain the highest level of care for his patients.
Dr. Topping is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Misch International Implant Institute, and the Nappanee Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Topping is also a strong believer in giving back to the community. He is on the Board of Directors for Faith Mission in Elkhart. Faith Mission is a homeless shelter, serving those underprivileged in Elkhart and the surrounding counties. He has also traveled to Mexico and Haiti on Dental Mission Trips.
Dr. Topping is a member of the American Motorcycling Association and enjoys riding motorcycles with his son Grant. He is married to a hometown girl, Stephanie (Swihart) and they also have a daughter Arianna.

I have been going to this dentist since before Dr topping took over Dr Brilliants practice. I had an appointment at 8am on Monday morning my son had developed hand foot and mouth Sunday night. The office opened at 8 and called to ask if I was coming I let them know I was about to call them to let them know my son had developed this and I could not come in. They proceeded to tell me I would have a $50 charge to my account. They then proceeded to call and text me about this fee and rescheduling my appointment I stated I wanted to talk to the office manager or dentist hisself and never received a call back. I have been at this dentist for 20 years have never missed an appointment and I'm very disappointed with the way they handled this. I could have brought my son and exposed the whole office I was choosing to be responsible and got charged a fee for doing so.

**You should read this before going to any other Dentist** I am not one to leave reviews, but I feel it is necessary after our visit. I have 20 years in Healthcare and I specialized in Pediatric Critical Care. My son (7) had to have a tooth removed and he is sensitive, to say the least, when it comes to pain. He won't let anyone touch a loose tooth, let alone pull it. I took him to Topping Family Dentist and was blown away! Just like most Dentist, the customer service was awesome starting as soon as we walked in the door. What set them apart from others was the way Dr. Topping worked with my son. He explained to him what we as going to do, but he needed his help though. Dr. Topping delivered the shot into my sons mouth in a way that I have never seen before and my son never even knew he was doing it. Shots prior have set him off and we would lose his corporation from then on out for the visit. Before long he was numb and was time to pull the tooth. Dr. Topping told him to grab ahold of the tool that pulls the tooth and they both removed the tooth together. I sat there with my jaw on the floor because I couldn't believe my eyes. The Best part is; he has another lose tooth and WANTS to go see his buddy, Dr.Topping, so they can pull it out together. That comment right there is the reason why I am writing this review! Who do you know that their kids request to go to the Dentist to get a tooth pulled out? Yah NO ONE!! Thank you to Topping Family Dentistry and his staff for taking care of my son, as if he was your own!!

Very friendly, confident and caring Dr. and team. They spend the time explaining treatment and answered my questions. I unfortunately had to have a tooth pulled and he gave the best injection I have had in any dental office. I didn't feel a thing! It is obvious he enjoys and respects his team. A great place to bring my family to be cared for. I would recommend Dr. Swihart with confidencem, you won't be disappointed.
