After waiting an hour past our appointment, I asked the office manager if we needed to reschedule. He replied by asking if I had somewhere I needed to be - as though my time had no value. The appointment was scheduled for 9:30am as a cleaning. We arrived 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. We were finally called back for X-rays at 11am. The dental hygienist performed less than 10 minutes of total cleaning / exam. We left at 11:45am - before we even finished - because I had an appointment with my own business clients, and I would never be so disrespectful as to keep them waiting. I have never experienced such a poor dental visit. The exam area was dirty, not-private and hair was all over the floor.

The staff was very friendly and did a good job comforting my daughter. However the horrible review is about Dr. Amin. She should not be working with children. She was bothered by my baby crying, as if she's not used to being around or dealing with children who are being forced to brush their teeth with strangers, I would assume most 2 year olds cry... She might have the credentials to be a dentist but she has no understanding or compassion to be working with children. Not only was she extremely bothered by my upset child, but then had a very hard time understanding what my wife was telling her because she already has her mind made up that you're stupid and so she talks over you and consistently repeats that you don't understand. She has no bedside manner whatsoever and definitely should not run a clinic whose focus is with children. She has zero patience. Her staff was amazing with the kids and very friendly. This is the second time my wife has had an issue with Dr. Amin. Last time we came she mocked my wife for asking that it be included in our charts that we don't want fluoride. Then she persisted to lecture my wife about how good fluoride is. Judgy and absolutely horrible communicator. Her attitude is terrible. Would like to include that after coming here my daughter ended up with impetigo. Only reason we decided to come back is because nobody was accepting new patients and my children need care. No wonder they give this option for state aid.

I have been taking my 9-year-old to Topeka Dental Clinic for several years now. She has high anxiety about dental visits and even had a tooth extraction for a baby tooth since her permanent grew in behind, but all the professionals are top-notch and work so well with her to minimize her emotional state. I recommend this clinic to any parent!!!

We waited over an hour past our appointment time before being seen. We usually are waiting 15+ mins past the appt time every time . The employees are nice and professional, but asking kids, young kids, to wait that long is just ridiculous.

I have been taking my 9-year-old to Topeka Dental Clinic for several years now. She has high anxiety about dental visits and even had a tooth extraction for a baby tooth since her permanent grew in behind, but all the professionals are top-notch and work so well with her to minimize her emotional state. I recommend this clinic to any parent!!!

Absolute worse dentist I have ever seen. I am now going on year 5 of braces because of lack of awareness of how bad my teeth truly were. I saw the Topeka Dental Clinic for around 4-5 years and was always told my teeth were just fine. I soon ended up seeing an orthodontist for some issues I was having with my teeth at 17 years old. I was told I had 4 baby teeth still in my mouth. Wisdom teeth growing in sideways. And 6 impacted teeth and one that was still lodged up by my nasal cavity and was affecting my breathing. Topeka Dental Clinic of course took xrays during the time I saw them and I was never aware of the condition of my teeth. I give a big thanks to them for the thousands of dollars I have had to spend on oral surgery, braces, and chains for my teeth. Worse clinic and should be shutdown for their neglect to patients.

I personally have a very sensitive gag reflex and the staff tried to force me to put the x ray foldable in my mouth, without any problem that I had almost thrown up. I'm also going tomorrow.

Takes to long to get in for fillings. They don't enter the stuff they have you fill out at every appointment. They didn't have the forms I signed to allow others to take my children and consent for treatment. They were shocked to learn my daughter had surgery 11 years ago when it's put down on the form every year. Thankfully I found another place here in town that can get my daughter in next week for her fillings instead of 3 and 4 months.

Topeka dental clinic staff has always been very friendly to us. Theyre fast at scheduling apts for us. The clinic is family friendly. Every appointment has been great. The dr was very informative And as parents yes its alittle nerve recking but we love the fact the staff was kind and reassuring. Unsure the reasoning or circumstances of some of these bad reviews. But its completely unnecessary. And may of been written out of spite. I reccomend this clinic highly. Don't judge a place based on reviews and ratings. Go yourself with a happy heart. :)

Wrong they called my home phone 3 days prior to my daughters appointment left message didnt say anything about it being cancelled. Sad to say the workers there have no type of degree or schooling probably why they cant seembto do their job.

Edit: I wish I could review this place again and give it another 5 stars..Our son had dental work done yesterday that required anesthesia, it was his first time being put under if you can imagine how scary it is not knowing how he would react...Dr. Chase and his nurses did a phenomenal job calming our nerves, keeping us informed and updated, and most of all my son is in zero pain today and doesn't remember a thing about yesterday at the dentist! Thank you thank you thank you!!! This place is hands down best place to take your children with state health insurance! They are compassionate toward the children and the parents, the staff did a great job!!!

My husband, myself, and another parent had horrible experiences checking in. A woman at the front desk was and is very rude, has an attitude, and makes you feel as if you're a burden. Not only is she rude she spoke to my husband as if he didn't understand English. Very unprofessional. I have made other arrangements for my children & I'm unsure if I will return. I will say though, EVERYONE ELSE treated us with respect & were amazing!
