My first time coming to topaz dentistry was great even though I was in pain Ms Maria and Ms Valerie were amazing and gave phenomenal customer service Ms Maria informed me of a discount I could receive being that one of my insurances didn't cover my full procedure I needed to be done and Ms valerie as well was able to help do my X-rays and get me a perfect date for my appointment being that the insurance was almost up luckily I could use another insurance and they were still able to take that and get me a cheaper affordable payment I will definitely be coming back to get more teeth work done

This week I chipped my tooth, my front tooth! Today I received exemplary service from a young lady by the name of Valerie. She informed of me things that were on my mind before I even asked. She made sure that I understood the process I was about to go through. She brought ease to a pretty horrible situation and I'm glad she was there.

We were hesitant coming here at first after reading all the reviews. I can tell you first hand this is an amazing group of people. I want to give a special shout out to Renee and Imaria, who ensured we were well taken care of from the time we entered the door to the time we left. We knew we were in great hands not 2 seconds after Renee greeted us. GOOD JOB YOU TWO!!!!!!!!

No privacy during procedures. Plastic dividers between dental chairs so everything is observed by others. Children running around room during procedures. Not professional at all. 3 hr wait time with appointment!

The reviews on here terrified me! My son's insurance had switched us to Topaz Dentistry. We were in the waiting area and I saw the reviews. I was a nervous wreck. However, we had an AMAZING experience. All the staff were friendly, professional, and kind. My son is 17 with autism and schizoeffective. They were incredible with him. It made me want to cry tears of joy. The dentist was thoughtful, caring, and professional. She helped make a sound decision about my son's wisdom teeth and referred us out. They gave us a sheet with options. So not just one choice but multiple. I appreciated that because it showed they truly cared. So glad they're out new dentist office and very sorry others had a bad experience because this place is genuinely great.

My kids have been coming to this dental clinic since it was called "KOOL SMILES" many years ago. Ever since they changed to "Topaz" the experience have been worse and worse every visit. You make an appt but end up waiting an hour to get seen. They have dropped or rescheduled appointments without notice. Stay away from this establishment.

The worst dentist visits i have experienced. Have been taking my 4 children there since it used to be kool smiles. But now this new topaz dentists are so rude and not good with children. Last 3 visits staff is miserable and rude. Waited over 2 hours. This last visit will be the last i take my kids there. Dont take small children there u will regret it. They are not gentle or patient. This 1 star is too much for them. Trust the reviews. Dont trust this office with ur babies. I feel so bad for putting my 4 year old through this terrible experience with rough dentist. Was more like a torture. No people skills. Kids cant even play in there small stupid wack play area. So lazy to sanitize daily.

Topaz Dentistry is awful. Beware! I took my kiddo here for a couple of years. At first, they were decent, but that changed the second kiddo had dental issues. Two spacers fell out, they wouldn't put them back on without paying, despite insurance. Two caps fell off, same thing about not putting them back on. Insurance should have covered it but they insisted we pay cash. They missed an abscessed tooth. And an entire molar disappeared from my daughter's mouth, with no explanation (or concern) of what happened and no questions able to be answered. We tried to switch to the other Topaz, since the ratings are far better. We made appointments a few times and had them confirm to us, over and over, that it was the OTHER Topaz. The day of each appointment, guess what happened? They scheduled for this Topaz. Every time! Thankfully, kiddo's teeth are being fixed at Killeen Children's Dental, and they're not demanding we pay OUTSIDE of her insurance. But am I still having issues with Topaz? YEP. Three times now, I've called and asked them to take kiddo out of their system. Three times they've confirmed it. And yet every day or two, I get calls and texts saying, "You have unused dental benefits, call us to use them!!" And every time I try to schedule at Killeen Children's Dental, somehow kiddo's insurance switches BACK to Topaz.... every single time. Topaz can't explain it, they just keep saying it stopped. It hasn't. This dental office is awful. Don't subject your kids or yourself to them. They're one of those dentists that's a front for getting as much insurance $$ as possible, rushing ppl through work that's not even always necessary. Their entire goal is money; they could not care less about the patients. Seriously- BEWARE!

Ever since this became Topaz dentistry it is the worst! The dentist is rude (to say the least), cuts you off when trying to address what is going on with my child and sent the medication to a pharmacy 3 hours away; that is when you know they are not paying attention. Also, the staff while nice they are very loud! They yell at each other whatever questions they have (instead of approaching the specific individual) as if they were in a park. I have been with them since 2007 (when it was kool smiles) but as soon as this extraction takes place I will be moving somewhere else (if I can wait that long).

One of the worst children's dental office I have ever experienced. I will never take my son back there. The staff is amazing but the dentist himself was rude and not gentle at all with my son.
