Dr. Elizabeth (Liza) Wakim commits herself to exemplary and compassionate dentistry. After graduating from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia, she completed her professional training at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI, where she is from originally.
She served a mini-residency at Duquense University and received training in dental IV sedation. For years she treated patients close by in West Virginia as a general dentist, being awarded one of America's Top Dentists. Dr. Wakim has now been in Washington, PA since May of 2015 and is continuously growing her practice with the most up to date technologies, products, and procedures.
She and her team know that going to the dentist can be a stressful and anxiety-inducing event for many patients, but that is why everyone in the office takes the time to identify what is most important to each patient so everyone treated here has the best experience possible.
The whole team is committed to providing a comfortable and friendly environment where patients leave smiling and feeling their best! In Dr. Wakim's free time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and attending concerts and sporting events.

First visit to Dr. Wakims practice. They took the time to review what procedures they would be doing during my first visit and establishing a base line of the condition of my teeth and gums. After completing the procedures they reviewed the results and we determined a course of action to correct any issues and any costs that I may occur. All in all, I'm very pleased.

Everything went according to the plan. Each step and the timeframe to complete the step was described so I knew what to expect. Because they are able to make crowns in office, I left with my new crown and did not require a temporary crown and a return visit.

Initial visit 2 weeks ago and surprised by the latest equipment and detail it provides. Needed an in-depth cleaning and Hygienist (Kelli) was professional, thorough, and painless.

I have gone to Dr. Dietrich for years and loved being his patient. During a visit to this new office I had a full set of X-rays done and I paid cash. When speaking with the office personal they somehow don't have any record of my X-rays or the cash payment I made. I requested this issue to be escalated, further investigated and receive a follow-up call before rescheduling any additional appointments. I never received any follow-up call; therefore, I would not recommend this practice to friends or family. Moreover, I have since decided to take my business elsewhere. How does an office not have record of my X-rays, my cash payment, or care to return my call????!

Dr. Wakim is professional, confident, personable, and caring. Her office has modern technology, and is shiny clean and sanitized. I have had extensive dental procedures recently, and never doubted Dr. Wakim's diagnosis or treatment. She is amazing! Dr. Wakim's entire staff is also outstanding.

I went to Dr.Dietrich for years and never had the issues I have had here. This office is all about money and not their patients. When you walk in no one says hi, they just look at you. Bonnie always recognized her people when she worked the desk and she no longer works there. If you have dental insurance, good luck. You will still pay a crazy amount out of pocket for issues that are covered.....oh and if you want a break down of your bill and what insurance pays.... Again good luck. It's not accurate.

These are the best dental professionals around. I wouldn't let anyone but Dr. Wakim and her staff perform any of my dental needs.Adriana is awesome and the staff is very detail oriented. Every visit i feel that i am their most important patient. I recommend others to their practice as well. They are equipped with the most modern technology and up to date equipment and are highly trained in their field. I never leave there dissatisfied or with any questions. They are truly the best !

Dr Deitrich. Saw me and I got a tooth filled and a chip repaired he was his usual friendly efficient self. I fill quite at ease when he works on my teeth.

UPDATE: This office has gone out of their way to make everything ok. They have worked with my insurance company tirelessly, they refitted my implant without a charge and have always treated me with kindness. I guess I was the one that was quick to judgement on the last review, so I take responsibility for being impatient and not talking to the right personnel at the office. My apologies to the staff and Dr. Wakim for for writing a harsh review without all the facts. All of the staff is great, so much so I have made a wonderful new friend (outside the office) in one of them. I have been meaning to update this review for sometime now but kept forgetting! Please disregard any previous review posted by me. Thank you!
