Children are the most precious thing in a parents life andI treat each child as if they were my own, just as I hope every medical professional would care for my child! As a pediatric dentist, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, positive dental experiences, tailored to the childs unique situation and their parents expectations.

I graduated from The George Washington University with a major in Biology and minor in psychology in 2003. I then went on to the National Institutes of Health, where I did research on bone marrow transplant and leukemia and published 13 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. I then pursued my true passion, and went to dental school at Columbia University and completedmy Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009. I completed a general practice residency through New York Methodist Hospital, and after that came my pediatric dentistry residency at Interfaith Medical Center. I am a Board Certified (Diplomate) by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

As a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Association of American Pediatric Dentistry, I have access to a range of continuing education. I seek out opportunities to learn about the latest trends in pediatric dentistry, especially new ways to provide minimally invasive, conservative treatments. By staying up to date, I am able to provide patients with the best care, using the most modern tools and techniques.

I grew up in McLean, Virginia, and have lived in Bergen County for some time. If Im not caring for growing smiles, Im usually with my wonderful family. My husband, who is an interventional radiologist, and I have three young daughters, plus a very spoiled pooch named Mishka.

I graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1994. Following my degree, I completed one year of general residency at NY Hospital Medical Center of Queens, formerly known as Booth Memorial. Then I completed two years of pediatric dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and Jacobi Medical Center.

My education and three years of residency have provided me with a vast knowledge and experience in all aspects of pediatric dentistry, with a strong focus on hospital dentistry and treatment of those with special needs. I am currently on staff at Englewood Hospital.

Shout out to Dr Kilical and her seamless tooth extraction on my 6-year old, who's terrified of needles and blood. I watched in awe while she playfully distracted him and pulled his tooth out. She's also the nicest person, takes her time explaining everything, answers all the questions and is very gentle with kids. Highly recommend her!!

My daughter had a check up appointment with Dr.Kilical in May, 2022. It was our second time at the office. And the last one. I am registered dental hygienist and have an experience of more than 12 years and know the dental business from inside. The dentist knew that I've worked as RDH not only at the dental offices but in Touro Dental School as teaching instructor in the dental hygiene department. As soon as Dr.Kilical finished with hygiene procedure for my daughter, the dentist said that my child needed the x-rays. She didn't explain why but I didn't reject because I knew my daughter needed bitewing and couple of periapical x-rays to see if there were cavities. I stayed inside the procedure room and my daughter left with a dental assistant to another room. As soon as she came back the dentist claimed that there were no cavities and we could go. It was a big shock for me at the front desk when I realized that they took panoramic x-ray for my kid without asking me! I was furious and resented the fact that the dentist didn't even ask my permission to take this kind of x-ray (which has much higher radiation that regular check-up x-rays), this action was professionally unethical and unnecessary in our case. The panoramic x-ray is NOT taken to detect dental cavities but rather to detect normal teeth and bones development! From my own dental hygiene experience I go above and beyond to make my patients feel respected, professionally treated, less tensed and relaxed. I would not recommend Dr.Kilical to anybody because of her unprofessional behavior.

I was very nervous at first to take my kids to a new dentist since our former pediatric dentist retired. However, I was pleasantly surprised with our experience with Dr. Kilical. She has amazing bedside manners and made all my children comfortable by explaining step-by-step what she was doing. Even my child with Special needs was calm during the cleaning. She is a keeper!
