Dr. Salar grew up in Los Angeles, California. After earning his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from UC Berkeley, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his dental degree. Immediately after graduating, he attended the prestigious NYU/Bellevue hospital program where he received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Upon finishing his education, Dr. Salar moved to the Great Sierra Nevada area where he has since served infants, children and adolescents in the local community. Although Dr. Salar emphasizes preventive dental care, conservative dentistry and home maintenance, his extensive sedation and surgical experience in performing full mouth oral rehabilitation has established him as the go to pediatric dentist for children requiring advanced complex treatment plans, special needs, anxiety and systemic health conditions.

Great team, always on top and listening to any and all concerns. Been going to Toothfairy for 11 years now, and I will never go anywhere else. They are always improving even when improvements are not needed. 5 stars just isn't enough stars for this team.

Dr. Salar is awesome! And so is his staff! The lady at the front desk makes waiting fly by, as she's friendly and personable! We were in and out with a kids routine cleaning. Dr. Salar gives good information and explains everything well.

My 6 year old and I love this place! Dr Salir and his staff are nothing short of kind, gentle and amazing people. They are very calming and instill confidence in their patients! I highly recommend coming to this dental office. The facilities themselves are clean and upgraded!

Took my grand daughter in for a cleaning and check-up. Doctor and staff were very professional. My grand daughter really enjoyed her cleaning and x-rays, and was excited to come back! Highly recommend, great with children!
