Dr. Salar grew up in Los Angeles, California. After earning his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from UC Berkeley, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned his dental degree. Immediately after graduating, he attended the prestigious NYU/Bellevue hospital program where he received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Upon finishing his education, Dr. Salar moved to the Great Sierra Nevada area where he has since served infants, children and adolescents in the local community. Although Dr. Salar emphasizes preventive dental care, conservative dentistry and home maintenance, his extensive sedation and surgical experience in performing full mouth oral rehabilitation has established him as the go to pediatric dentist for children requiring advanced complex treatment plans, special needs, anxiety and systemic health conditions.

They are terrible. Only good when you want your teeth cleaned. My oldest son is 7. They couldn't pull his tooth. They didn't even try. They referred us to their Carson City location. I went there for myself cause my tooth was hurting. Didn't give me any antibiotics until a week later when I continued complaining about my tooth. They scheduled for my tooth to be pulled. They didn't pull it cause my roots are too deep. They didn't even look at my x-rays. To see my roots are deep. They wasted my time both time. They don't have payment plans. It was gonna cost me $4000 for fillings too.

The dentists couldn't even agree! One told us to drill due to cavities. The next said there were no cavities. If they can't agree within their own business, I can't trust them. We've moved on.

Great experience, excellent staff--for the most part. I had to have an emergency tooth extraction and called them on Sunday. I got a call back on Monday morning and was seen by 11am the same day! They relieved me of the stress and fear of having my tooth extracted by explaining in detail, the process. I informed them of my previous dentist and how I was more fearful after I left his office in Reno than when I came in. The Reno dentist told me to take antibiotics til June when he can schedule me in. Toothfairy Dental advised me that the wait may bring more pain and problems, and that they'll absolutely get this fixed for me that very same day! Caring and professional about the process and my concerns. When it was over they gave me very thourough instructions on how to get thru the healing process. That particular experience was great. I'd recommend this clinic to anyone. They're fantastic with my 5 year old too, depending on who's working-sometimes you'll experience an angry nurse/assistant and get treated pretty poorly.

Took my 12m old in for her first appointment. Everyone was very friendly, quick, and informative. The other children having appointments seemed very happy and comfortable there as well. I'm someone who has extreme dental anxiety, so finding a good dentist, and making my child comfortable to avoid that anxiety later in life is very important to me- I'm glad we found such great care here, first try!

I called to make an appointment for my son and the lady was so rude, she said and I quote "we don't want to have 3 different calls to tell you what we need." Isn't that your job to help us through the process not to be rude. Ill find a different dentist for my son, forget that. I do not recommend this dentist.

I want to thank the orthodontist that took a few minutes out of his break to look at my baby's gums for me and assure me they looked good and weren't infected that it was just normal teething. Thank you so much!

Got there early and we were taken back almost immediately. Staff very friendly and courteous. Dr was very upbeat and positive. Can't wait to take my kids back again.

The worst place I have ever taken my son.they don't know what they are doing. My son has autism and he was in pain and I told them he was in pain and they said he isn't and to find out by a different dentist that he needed 5 teeth removed right away. Just say I wouldn't take my kids now

Referred me to the wrong oral surgeon, put down the wrong amount of teeth to be pulled in the referral. The representatives an supervisors were very rude, one hung up on me as im crying in pain an anxiety from all this, then made me find places to be referred " keep in mind I have a swollen mouth an can hardly move my jaw" to an never told me the correct Oral surgeon, could not spell or pronounce his name. I got pushed off for almost 6mths. It's been hell.But Dr.Davies was awesome an the staff inside the office in Fernley were kind, until I left.. I pray nobody else ever has to live with thr teeth pain as long as I did on behalf of thier miscommunication an negligence.... Humanity is gone these days!!

Gave us wrong address and we called and got the right address. Showed up 13 min late in which lady said when I called to still come in and it's ok. We finally showed up and they didn't want to see us! We had 2 appointments. My wife put up a fight to be seen. They put us on the back of list. Waited 2 hours for nothing. Said we'll be seen in 15 min ... nope! Never got to us like they said. Not very professional.

The staff is so great here! They made what was a scary situation for my daughter, a good experience, which I'm so grateful for. Wish I had had a dentist like that growing up. Lol I definitely recommend them!

If I could give 0 stars i would. Absolutely the worst dentist ever. My husband went in for a tooth extraction and Dr. Doxey completely broke off the top of his tooth and said oh sorry nothing I can do about that. You'll have to go see a surgeon. I highly do not reccomend this office
