A Chicago native, Dr. Lauren Jacobsen completed her Bachelor of Science in sunny Arizona where she continued on to earn her doctorate in Dental Medicine. Not willing to trade out the sunshine and warmth for Midwest winters, Dr. Jacobsen moved to downtown Austin and has called it home ever since.

Growing up, Dr. Jacobsen interned in the office of a neighbor who managed her own dental practice. It was there that she not only learned about dentistry but about how to create the best possible patient experience. After completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Jacobsen earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Jacobsen started Toothbar because she saw a demand in the community for comprehensive care from the shoulders up. She lives and works downtown, which allows her to easily relate to and address the needs of her clientele.

Born and raised in the live music capital city, Dr. Morren has the rare badge of being a true Austinite. Being the daughter of a physician, Dr. Morren always knew she had an interest in helping people through healthcare. Her eyes were opened to the field of dentistry during her undergraduate years, when she had the opportunity to attend various dental mission trips to Central America which solidified her passion.

She is an active member of the Capital Area Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association. She also enjoys sharing her dental abilities by volunteering with organizations such as Texas Mission of Mercy.

In her spare time, Dr. Morren loves to cook, take pilates classes, and further her knowledge in nutritional science. As an avid foodie, Dr. Morren loves to test out Austins newest restaurants.
