Dr. Ahmad proudly serves patients in the Herndon, VA area, including Reston and Sterling. Originally from Central Florida, Dr. Ahmad graduated from Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where she obtained her doctorate in dental medicine. There, she gained a solid clinical foundation working on the nations largest dental school patient population with a focus on the complex dental needs of the underserved and uninsured in North Philadelphia.
As a practitioner, Dr. Ahmad is a strong believer in preventive dentistry and focuses on helping her patients maintain a healthy oral cavity. Dr. Ahmad takes great pride in being able to provide high-quality, comprehensive general dental care for the whole family.
Dr. Ahmad, being a mother of four, understands the challenges in helping kids maintain a healthy smile and the phobia associated with the dentist office. She helps children overcome their fear with her friendly and caring personality and makes sure they feel comfortable while at the clinic.
Razhan, who goes by 'Raz', is our awesome dental hygienist. When you come to our office Raz will take care of you and always make sure you are comfortable. She is always trying to go above and beyond and is a real team player. She has been working in the dental field for years and received her dental hygiene license from Northern Virginia Community College. When she is not at work Raz loves to work on DIY projects at her home, spend some relaxation time with her family and catch up on shows.

We have a large family and each one of the kids loved the people in the office! From Miss Joy at the front desk welcoming us and turning on a kid friendly movie- to each hygienist taking such gentle care of us to the point some of us almost fell asleep! The Dr. was kind and attentive to my concerns for each child and myself and I felt at ease with her professionalism and attention to detail immediately. We're new to the area and I'm so grateful to have stumbled on a great dentist and office on the first try! Highly recommend this practice!

My 3 year old and I came yesterday for back to back appointments. I scheduled it that way so I could be with her for her very first appointment. The assistant kept saying how good my daughter was but it was really her patience and encouragement through the cleaning that was soooo great! My daughter was so calm and comforted that she nearly took a nap during her cleaning! I'm grateful for cleaning tips for home that I was coached through. I love how family friendly this dentistry is. My appointment went great and I feel this is the first time I had an actual thorough cleaning. Happy I made the switch and wish I made it sooner!

ZERO STARS - please don't see them if you can help it. They are so careless in patients care even when explaining there is pain after recommended treatment was completed. Kept having pain after a month and they just kept stating this was "normal" when I couldn't even chew on that side the whole time. They have absolutely no urgency and we couldn't even schedule an emergency appointment (after THEY kept rescheduling previous emergency appt) because the Dr then went on vacation, as they said this last month....so you get my frustration, please don't see them :)

Great place for Dental work. It was my first visit and a most satisfying one. Dr Ahmed is very friendly and cooperative. Last but not least Hygienist Ms Deepika is quiet knowledgeable, gentle and explained oral hygiene in simple terms.

Relatively new in the area! Dr. Ahmad and her staff are very diligent and respectful. I always leave my cleaning feeling refreshed and clean. Highly recommend! They take covid precautions seriously too. Aside from cleaning the tools (obviously), I saw them thoroughly wiping down every corner after my appointment!

I'm 31 year old and last year I went for tooth cleaning I have absolutely no issues it's a general cleaning. Once the cleaning done they advised me to go for filling on right Jaw to avoid any future cavities. After filliin session I never able to chew or eat anything with right Jaw. Again I went to clinic raising my concern to Dr and she said filling was not correct and we need to took of it and then Dr almost cut half of my teeth. It's been a year I'm suffering pain on right Jaw and can't eat with it. Everytime I feel I need to sue them to save the rest of the innocents. Just for money they did this.

My experience here as a new patient has been fantastic. An absolute 10/10 and I recommend this place 100%. The staff is super nice, super fast, super accommodating. One appointment I was almost an hour late and Dr. Ahmad (and staff) waited patiently even past their business hours and it felt as if I hadn't been late at all. She's been very friendly and pleasant (along with her staff). Seems like she's a very sweet and kind person. The doctor is very efficient and I (as a layman) could tell she is very skilled at her craft. Was told there could be possible soreness after, but I haven't felt a moment of pain or even soreness at all, which I can't always say from other places. The care I received was beyond exemplary. They've only been accommodating to whatever care and time/date I wanted or needed. I'm the guy who never write reviews, but my experiences here have been so good I finally felt compelled to write one. I recommend her as your new dentist without reservation. Trust, Thank me later. =]

Fantastic Staff, spot on and great referrals out too. We moved to the area and Dr. Ahmad and her team totally put my kids at ease. My older son felt really relaxed and said it was the least stressful dental visit. Even when he returned later for fillings, the way everyone put him at ease and they treated him with consideration and kindness made it the easiest visit we've had with him. My husband stated his treatment was miles above previous dentist we've seen in the past. Dr. Ahmad's referrals for an orthodontist and specialized dental for my toddler were with phenomenal specialists. Extremely happy we found Dr. Ahmad. I suggest calling rather than going through the website for appointments and questions.

Very rude front desk. Hung up on me and tried to blame covid despite covid being an airborne transmitted disease. Also, shady billing practices. Tried to charge a copay when the same insurance ive had for years doesn't have in network co-pays for the twice yearly dental exam. Might have tried charging me for services rendered when I explicitly told them repeatedly that I would only want the services (fluoride, x-rays) done if covered by insurance. Tbd if they are but I have 0 faith after my most recent horrible experience with their staff.
