Dr. Seaverson grew up in central Wisconsin. She attended Marquette University for her undergraduate studies andgraduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000. After dental school she completed a 1 year residency program at Hennepin County Medical Center. She joined Tooth by the Lake in 2002. Dr. Seaverson has taken many hours of continuing education in both traditional and holistic dentistry and loves to learn! Kari and her husband, Dr. John Seaverson, reside in Chaska with their two sons, Jack and Cole.
Dr. Seaverson grew up in northern Minnesota where his father practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000. He has completed all the requirements andreceived his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Seaverson has been voted a 'Top Dentist' in the Mpls/St. Paul Magazine as well as voted a Top Dentist by Minnesota Monthly.Since Fall of 2014 John has been working part time as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. John and his wife, Dr. Kari Seaverson, live in Chaska with their two sons, Jack and Cole. When not working, John is an avid runner and triathlete andhascompleted races ranging from 5Ks to Ironmans.
Dr. Tschetter grew up in South Dakota.He graduated from Loyola Dental School in Chicago, IL. Hestarted Tooth by the Lakein 1982 asa mercury-free practice. Heloved learning and took many hours of continuing education every year. On weekends his hobbywas running a small resort on Duluth's North Shore.His passionwas seeing people's health restored through less toxic, health centered dentistry. On June 14, 2016 Dr. Tschetter passed away from an unrecoverable stroke. He will be deeplymissed by us here at Tooth by the Lakeand by thousands of patients whose lives he touched in so many ways!
