Dr. Tony grew up in Eastern Oregon and spent much time on a farm learning the value of hard work. He was a competitive athlete in his youth, but focused on the Javelin after high school. He threw for the All Army Track team and the University of Washington. He ended his throwing career with a bang when he was invited to compete in the 92 Olympic trials in New Orleans. Dr. Tony went on to receive his Doctorate degree from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).
He has been married to his wife, Jamie, since 1987 and they have 3 children. They are also adoptive parents and enjoy continued relationships with many of their former foster children. Dr. Tony is a big kid at heart; his hobbies include camping and riding ATVs with his family on the Oregon Coast sand dunes, and long range shooting.
Giving back to the community of Redmond is a priority for Dr. Tony. In the past, he has been a volunteer coach with both the Redmond High and Ridgeview High Track and Field teams. Having been a collegiate competitor in the throwing events, he enjoys sharing his love for the sport with the youth of Redmond and has helped several athletes to enjoy successful careers in the throwing events. Dr. Tony is also an active member of the Chamber and supports many of the local youth sports, as well as 4H and FFA.
After being in a group practice in Redmond for 10 years, he opened his own practice allowing him to focus on individual patient care. He and his staff pride themselves in being attentive to their patients needs, and on being gentle and down to earth. Per Dr. Tony, I like to treat each patient as if they were familywith kindness, honesty and compassion!
