Dental hygienist was rude and did not tell me when she was going to be doing things. She kept poking me in the face accidentally with the dental tools when she would enter my mouth for cleaning. She also accidentally poked my gums often causing them to bleed. Dentist however was very informative, listened to me, and was very kind!!

This was the worst dentist I've ever been to. I never had dental anxiety until I started coming here. The dentist is rude and impatient. He told me it didn't hurt when it did. After a few appointments he told me he wouldn't work on me anymore because of my dental anxiety. The office was supposed to call me with referrals to other dentists but they never did. Do not go here unless you absolutely have to.

X-Ray equipment is up to date; not sure if their techs are able to take, or their dentists are interested in seeing, X-rays in which tooth images don't overlap. NEW PATIENTS and EXISTING PATIENTS WITH NEW MEDICAL CONDITIONS: This dental practice does not show, on their online health history form, which health conditions they require a signed doctor's note for before they will do a cleaning. (TDH: this info would be very helpful in order to avoid doubling appointments.) When filling out the form before your appointment, make a list of the conditions you checked. Then, at least a few days before your appointment, call the office and ask which, if any, of the conditions on your list require a note from your primary care doctor. If you need one, get a signed paper note from your doctor; if you can't get one in time, reschedule your dental appointment so you don't end up with two appointments for one cleaning. The business model of this dental practice does not allow appointments to run overtime in case of bumps like this.

I was treated with respect and not embarrassed by the staff for my long over due dental issues. I can't wait to go back, all staff I interacted with were very kind and attentive, answering all questions.

The doctor wasn't in the office for my first visit, so a cleaning was done and a separate appointment was made. The second time I went straight into the doctor's chair. She is professional, practical and straight to the point. No weird upsells or shady practices like other dentists I've visited in the area. A real keeper!

I made an appointment at this facility under the impression that they'd accept my health insurance; the lady I'd initially spoken with confirmed UPMC Healthcare was accepted here. I proceeded to make an appointment for myself and someone else and had to wait 2 months for said appointments. Once we get to the office the lady told the other person they had been taken off the list for "not confirming" their appointment even though I had confirmed both appointments the day prior. What's more, the lady proceeds to tell me she had been working there for 12 years and had "never" heard of UPMC Healthcare despite the fact that I had specifically made sure to confirm that they accepted it prior to scheduling any appointments at all. Overall a terrible and unprofessional experience, would not recommend this place unless you have tons of time to waste.
