Patients comment that they have never experienced a dental office that genuinely takes care of the patients and gives the level of service we do. They are amazed that we remember personal things about them, call them by name, smile, and truly have a desire to do the best we can for them.
We strive to make sure that patients feel important and have a great visit. We really care about them! We think its important that they have their questions answered in regards to dental treatment or insurance. We develop trust with our patients because we are honest and straight forward with them. The level and quality of dental care we provide and the communication we offer is outstanding.
Dr. Tomei graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University before earning his degree from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry in 1992. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry as well as the Livonia Chamber of Commerce.
His dental practice has been rooted in Livonia since 1996, when he acquired his practice from Dr. Nicholas Cirino. He is a father of 3 children and resides in Plymouth, Michigan. 'I 've wanted to be a dentist since the 2nd grade', he says. 'I believe that each and every person deserves the best dental care available, and I strive to make that possible.
I believe you treat people the way you want to be treated. I try to make it clear that there isn 't an issue that is so bad that it cannot be solved. This makes the patient more comfortable and we hope this leads to referrals, which we greatly appreciate.'
Dr. Jashleen Bedi was born and raised in a small town outside of Tampa, Florida but has called Michigan her home for ten years. She moved straight to Ann Arbor, where she still lives with her husband, two little girls and their crazy, but lovable dog, to eventually complete her masters degree in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
Prior to that, she completed her four year doctorate of dental medicine degree at the University of Florida where she graduated at the top of her class. During these four years not only did Dr. Bedi fall in love with Orthodontics but also college football! Thank goodness her teams - Florida and Michigan - are in different conferences!
Dr. Bedi feels that dentistry combines the best aspects of science and art and this is what appealed Dr.Bedi to enter the dental field. Dr. Bedi finds every aspect of orthodontics rewarding and loves to see her patients end treatment with a beaming smile.
We are excited to introduce you to Rachel Weatherhead DDS. Dr. Weatherhead will be working with us part time during our one Friday/Saturday per month. She will also be available when Dr. Tomei is out of the office. We are happy to have her join our team!
Dr. Weatherhead grew up downriver, and currently resides in Trenton. She attended the University of Detroit Mercy, where in 2011 she received her Bachelors degree in Biology and in 2015 earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
During her days off from practicing dentistry, Dr. Weatherhead enjoys spending time at her familys cottage in Irish Hills; she loves to water-ski, wakeboard, tube and parasail. When she is not at the lake, she likes to ride her bike, ride her unicycle and play with her puppy, Harvie. Dr. Weatherhead also loves listening to music and is a huge fan of Shania Twain!
Anna Maria has been with Dr. Tomei since 2006. She is educated in business at Schoolcraft College and has completed the MGE Administrative Power Program. She makes sure that our office is always running smoothly. She handles any issues that you may have, and makes you feel at home.
'I 've been working in a dental office since I was 16. I feel privileged to work and serve here with such a dedicated staff and enjoy getting to know all of our patients. It 's fun to come to work', she says.

High-tech solutions with old-school client service! I can't tell you how many times Dr. Tomei has saved me from dental disaster. The weird things that happen with my teeth have become regular fodder every time I visit. But, he always brings me around. His work has never disappointed me and I am always confident that I can trust his suggestions. I have never had the feeling that he was trying to sell me something I don't need as many others have. In fact, though I moved to Ohio and then to Florida during my time as his client, I still travel to him to get my work done. His team is top-notch. Almost like family... welcoming, helpful, good-humored, accommodating, and professional. His equipment is state of the art and that makes things go much faster. I love this practice and highly recommend it!

Go to this office if you want to be treated like a child that is unable to make informed decisions about your treatment plan. I went to multiple appointments that were necessitated by this office's inability to schedule equipment usage correctly (and lost time at work), only to be refused orthodontic treatment based on one misconstrued sentence in a report written by my TMD specialist. The TMD specialist recommended in the same report that I start orthodontic treatment immediately. The lack of professionalism and regard for a patient's time is astounding.

Just had a crown-one of several in the past from Dr Tomai. This time one stop; got the permanent crown right then. Had to wait hour and a half for it to be built (watching TV) but walked out done. No changes, no need to tweak. Perfect fit. Hour or so later was eating lunch. Great office. Great dentist.

If I could give 5000 starts I would. I love my Dentist and the Staff. My doctor and staff make you feel like family, their dental work is amazing and I feel blessed to have such a great dental team. Great patient care is number #1!!!!!

Dr. Tomei has given me life back. Let me explain. For 24 years, I never once had a smile in my photos. Not a real one, at least. My first family photos with the love of my life, and my son, I couldn't show a smile I was proud of. I covered my mouth when I talked to much, or laughed. I had a dentist once put their pinkies in my years and refuse to even clean my teeth. Losing hope entirely on dental work. But Dr. Tomei didn't blink at the challenge. When everything in my dental health took a turn for the worse, during my pregnancy, he took such great care of me that I was able to have teeth pulled just to relieve the pain until my son was born. After pregnancy, the real fun started. With consistent appointments, open conversation, and a good amount of hour in work.. I have a smile that can finally truly show my happiness. I looked in the mirror, and saw someone I never knew before. A genuine smiling.. ME! I can smile in my new family photos. I no longer dread what I could do to cover myself on my wedding day in the future. Dr. Tomei not only fixed my smile but also my health, my happiness, and my confidence. And that is something I could never thank him enough for! We still have some progress, and I look forward to what's yet to come. But where we are now, has me confident enough to know that Dr. Tomei is passionate, confident, and proud of his work. And his absolute end goal is your brightest smile.
