Dr. Travis Tomblyn graduated with honors from West Virginia University School of Dentistry at the top of his class. He received his Master of Science degree and certificate for Advanced Education in Orthodontics from West Virginia University Department of Orthodontics.

Outside of the office, she can be found traveling and exploring different cultures. She loves taking her dog Macie on walks on the beach or out on the boat on Lake Travis. A native of Wheeling, WV, she decided to trade the cold, snowy winters in West Virginia for the abundant sunshine in Austin. She loves the warm weather, outdoor activities, unlimited restaurants and endless events that Austin has to offer.

I am happy I chose Tomblyn Family Ortho for my treatment. As an adult having to get braces the second time, it wasn't something I was necessarily looking forward to, but Dr. Travis Tomblyn (who I worked with) and the staff were very friendly and understanding and I am beyond happy with the results of my teeth. You will be happy with choosing this office for your orthodontic treatment.

My daughter's invisalign experience with Tomblyn Family Dental was outstanding. From initial consultation to removal, the process was easy and clear, and everyone at the practice was extremely kind and patient. We definitely recommend them and I'll be back when my son is ready for orthodontics!

I would not recommend Tomblyn Orthodontics for minority patients. I felt as if I was watched and followed through the clinic during follow-up appointments. My orthodontic work requires composite removal which is incorporated into the cost of the Invisalign. During initial treatment, Dr. Tomblyn suggested I seek another dentist for the composite work. I did seek another dentist to execute the composite work but they could not touch the work of another dentist, this was clearly his job per guidance from the other dentist. During, a recent appointment one of the dental assistants came outside the clinic as I was approaching the entrance asking, "where is your mother." Thanks for the compliment but I am a fully grown woman! And I am not the patient you think I am. Mind you I had a mask on and my hair is natural and coily, I had a pink headband to push back my hair. But to meet me on the sidewalk (preventing entrance) to ask such a question and assumptions is unprofessional, especially if you assumed I was a child without parental chaperon. As I walked into the door, Dr. Tomblyn was staring at me strangely and I just waved because it was uncomfortable and he just looked away and held his head down. I wore my hair in the pink headband because I assumed Dr. Tomblyn would be removing some of the composite as stated per my last visit. However, this did not occur. I understand the doctor doesn't want me walking around for an extended period with spaces. But stick to the plan, get things moving it's braces - spaces and movement are part of the process. I feel unwelcomed here and unsafe as a minority patient. Dr. Tomblyn and the team seem nice, but there are some very subtle hints of discrimination here. Could be a conversation or misunderstanding but when the disrespect and unprofessionalism continues you have to speak-up and share.

I 100% recommend this practice for Invisalign. Dr. Travis and his staff are honest, attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have treated me with respect and kindness from day one (something that really is hard to find these days). I've had braces, painful retainers, and Invisalign more than once as a kid from another orthodontist. Compared to that, Invisalign with Dr. Travis was the easiest orthodontics I've experienced and got me the results I wanted. Despite one small issue (nobody's fault), Dr. Travis made time to talk to me himself about figuring out a solution that worked for us both. I really respected his patience and time to solve it with me. I've referred friends of mine and will continue to do so...and yall... I'm picky :)

Dr. Thomblyn and his office staff are simply amazing. Wonderful customer service and the office is always clean and decorated like home. I have 3 kids who have all had orthodontic work done and we are super pleased with the treatments plans and payment plans. I can't say enough wonderful things! Y'all are the BEST!

Gotta say, whoever decorated that Christmas tree did a pretty awesome job of it! The checkup on my teeth was also pretty exceptional! Best place in Texas to get you teeth straightened!

Dr. Tomblyn is excellent and his whole staff is absolutely terrific. I was very happy with how invisalign went -- it was a remarkably easy and efficient process. Appointments and scheduling are a breeze, and it was always easy to get any little problems taken care of. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic practice with even better staff! They are excellent to their patients the second they walk in the door. They have been super generous with helping us maneuver treatment plans for multiple family members, thoroughly answering any questions that may arise, and are almost always available to their patients last minute for appointments if needed. We were initially patients of Dr Waters and miss him however I can tell you Dr Tomblyn gets 5 stars in our book! He was a great choice for Dr Waters to transition his practice to... highly recommend!!!

I was referred to Dr. Travis Tomblyn's Orthodontics Office and I could not say enough great things about this place! First of all, his front office staff, Liz and Priscilla, are the nicest and most organized people I've had the pleasure of booking appointments with. They are always super friendly and accommodating to my appointment changes. Next are the Orthodontist Assistants who are all super skilled in what they do. Specifically, Mikaela takes such great care of me every time I come in for an adjustment that I'm always excited and look forward to coming in. My husband is also getting his invisalign treatment done here as well and his experience has been just as great. I highly recommend Dr. Tomblyn's Orthodontics practice to anyone who's looking for the best attention and care in Orthodontics.

Dr. Travis Tomblyn was AMAZING!!! I took both my kids to see him for different reasons. He had the sweetest nature about him and his knowledge and thoroughness was unlike any other orthodontist we had been to. He explained our treatment so well and left us excited to take next steps! He also handled my daughter and her thumb sucking habit extremely professional. Dr. Travis talked to her on her level, but also made her feel like an adult. She left there empowered to stop and has already made huge progress! I also love the staff at Tomblyn Family Ortho! They are always so nice when scheduling and so helpful. There hours are great too!! I highly recommend Tomblyn Family Ortho!! They will not disappoint.
