As a 1982 graduate of the University of Toledo and a 1986 graduate of The Ohio State University of Dentistry, Dr. Tomase has dedicated his professional career to providing his patients with outstanding dental care.
Dr. Tomase's own dentist encouraged him to consider this field as he was growing up. He always loved science, working with people, and making a difference in the lives of others, and this career has provided him with that privilege.
His postgraduate education includes extensive coursework at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Midwest Implant Institute, and the LSU School of Dentistrys Academy of Continuing Education. Dr. Tomase has also personally trained with Dr. Larry Rosenthal, a nationally acclaimed cosmetic dentist in Manhattan, New York.
To deliver exceptional care, Dr. Tomase frequently attends continuing education courses. He and his dental team are well-versed in the newest dental techniques and technologies, implementing dental innovations to provide patients with advanced, comfortable, personalized care.
In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Tomase appreciates time spent with his family, including his wife Teri, a corporate trainer, and their three children. Their oldest son Jeff is a dentist in Florida. Jeff and his lovely wife Melissa are new parents to son Luca, giving Dr. Tomase and Teri the proud title of grandparents. Their daughter Jordan works in marketing/public relations, and their youngest son Jonathan is employed with a Toledo-based company.
Dr. Tomase and Teri enjoy traveling (especially visiting their grandson in Florida) and find the area of Traverse City, Michigan, particularly beautiful. They can be found in Columbus, Ohio, in the autumn, cheering for the Buckeyes, and summers are spent with family and friends enjoying cookouts in the backyard.

Dr Tomase is the very best dentist! He will not settle unless it is perfect! Does miracles! His staff is over the top! He hires the very best! Always so pleasant to go for your appointments ! If you have a problem there is no waiting to get in! He will work you in! Delinda did my cleaning and was so thorough and pleasant! I can't say enough!

Dr. Tomase and his staff have cared for myself and family for a very long time. They don't just treat you like a patient, they treat you like family. Everyone always gives off a welcoming atmosphere. I could not imagine going anywhere else.

I have been going to Dr Tomase for over 30 + years. He and his staff are phenomenal! He is the BEST dentist by far and truly cares about his patients as well as his very professional staff. I would highly recommend if you are looking for the best dental care by far. I live in Genoa Ohio and he is located in Sylvania Ohio and it is well worth the drive!

Both my husband & I felt medically safe entering this office & each receiving an efficient, painless, & timely teeth cleaning. The office has been modified with up to date air purifying equipment, & all the staff followed precise safety protocols, while offering a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Tomase Dental Care is top notch! Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming, they are punctual and efficient, while not sacrificing quality of dental care. They address all of my concerns and I feel great getting my dental care there. Added bonus is the selecting a "treat" from the basket for grown-ups! I took home a magic eraser scrubber on my last visit :)

This is the best dental practice ever. I actually look forward to going. I get to laugh with my favorite hygienist Donna. We have so many things in common to laugh about. My teeth feel like a million bucks when she is finished. And, she is sweet and caring too. Dr. Tomase is the greatest dentist. He is gentle and fast with his work, always conscious of not wanting me to be in pain. He is kind and conscientious. I drive 35 miles to get to the practice and he and Donna are worth it. And a shout out to my fellow Hungarian, Kay. She is fast and efficient and fun.

ONCE AGAIN! Team Tomase rules!! From the ease of scheduling with Katy. Exceptional patient care with Donna and the rest of the hygienists. Dr Tomase is professional and personable both. Procedures are explained and never rushed. He explains treatment options honestly with the best in keeping for the patients care. Last but not least there's Kate! Keeping the office running like clockwork. Tomase Dental isn't an office! It's family!
