I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan called Higgins Lake. It is a beautiful spring-fed lake abouttwenty-six miles in circumference. Warm summers on the lake, snowmobiling in the winter and no bumper to bumper traffic made growing up there wonderful. After graduating from Roscommon High School in 1991,I attended the University of Michigan where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While many of you may not be fond of Wolverine fans here in the Pacific Northwest I can assure you I'm actually a pretty nice guy. After Michigan, I moved out to New York City where I attended and graduated from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery in 2000. I ended up dating and eventually marrying, one of my classmates. My wife, Dr. Judy Chen, was admitted to the University of Washington's Orthodontics program which, obviously, brought us out to this great land of Washington. She is currently practicing in Redmond, WA.
I practiced dentistry for a couple years as an associate in another doctor's office before meeting Dr. Richard Mariani in Auburn. I purchased his office in 2003 and we worked together for the next 3 1/2 years.We have retained 100% of the staff which is a very good indicator of an office's stability and maturity. Our patients and staff tellme they are very happy Dr. Mariani was so careful in picking his successor.
My wife and I have two beautiful boys, now 10 and 13 years old. They pretty much consume all of our free time...which is the way it should be. I used to have a few hobbies, like auto racing at Pacific Raceways, that I have had to put on hold while we raise our little guys. When not following the kids around, I tend to keep myself busy with photography, computers, sports, music, home remodeling projects and fishing/crabbing/shrimping. I am always open to new experiences and love sharing experiences with my patients.

I am very scared of the dentist, doesn't matter what is getting done, I do not want to be there. When I went to Dr. Rohdy to get my filling done, it was the BEST experience I have ever had. he went super slow with the anesthesia shot, didn't rush through doing the procedure, and was very patient with me when I needed breaks. He cares a lot about how I feel before and after every appointment! He is not only a great dentist but an amazing person too because he cares about his staff to the highest degree! I have been to many different dentists and I always leave upset; mostly because they don't explain what they are doing. I WILL only being going to Dr. Rohdy now!

I've been going to Dr Rhody for a few years now. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. Dr Rhody is a fantastic Dentist who takes his time with each patient.

Very impressed! My daughter saw Dr. Rohdy this week and was surprised and pleased how thorough, kind and gentle the entire staff was. She said it was easily the best dental experience she'd ever had! Kudos Dr. Rohdy and staff!!! :)
