Dr. Tom Hall is a native Houstonian, and has enjoyed the specialty of orthodontics for over 25 years, improving the function and appearance of smiles in Houston. He is now treating a third generation of happy patients.
Dr. Hall graduated from the University of Houston Main with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology during three years of study. He graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He returned to university to specialize in orthodontics and obtained a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. During his orthodontic residency he completed additional course work and original research in TMD, bite alignment, and muscle function to earn a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Dr. Hall's original research of TMD was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Tom Hall is a life learner and passionate about his work. Before returning to residency for advanced specialty training in orthodontics, Dr. Hall practiced General Dentistry for five years, gaining valuable experience and treatment perspective, dealing with complex dental cases. He routinely treated cases involving dental cosmetics, crown and bridge, oral surgery, bite alignment and TMJ dysfunction. I wouldn't wish Dr Hall on my worst enemies. They're literal thieves who care very little about patient care. Horrible, horrible experience. They literally stole my money. I wanted to cancel my treatment plan but made me pay $2000 to book an appointment. And then didn't return the money when I cancelled the appointment. They're absolutely the worst. Run away from this place. It was so difficult dealing with their unprofessionalism. In the process of suing them.

I have 2 boys in treatment now and Dr. Hall and his staff are amazing. Always friendly, accommodating and prompt when we arrive. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking treatment.

The staff and office was great, initially. Then I had a wire that was stabbing my tongue and causing my mouth to bleed. I called at 3:12. They state they are open til 4pm I arrived at 3:35. The doors were locked. The trash was sitting outside the door and no one answered the phone. I called several times. I also texted their office. This happened on a Thursday, they are not open on Fridays. They left me to be in pain and bleed all weekend. Fortunately, I found a doctor kind enough to clip the wire for me. Keep in mind, she wasn't my doctor nor had I paid thousands of dollars for her services, but nonetheless kind enough to help. I had high hopes for this office, but when I really needed help, they did not care or assist. Unfortunately, I will be stuck here for the rest of my treatment.

Dr. Hall is an excellent orthodontist and I'd recommend him to anyone who is interested in orthodontic treatment. As a working professional, I wanted orthodontic treatment that did not alter my appearance or interfere with my daily life. After doing some research, I discovered lingual braces and booked a consultation with Dr. Hall. At the consultation, Dr. Hall answered all of my questions and proposed a treatment plan. I'm now midway through my lingual braces treatment and I'm very pleased with the whole experience. Although my teeth are straightening, I often forget that I'm wearing braces because they don't interfere with my daily life. Dr. Hall is professional, personable, and a true lingual braces expert. I've also been impressed by the professionalism and competence of the other individuals who work in Dr. Hall's office.

The office is nice, convenient location, and seems to cater more towards adults (without children games and stickers etc everywhere). Tom Hall is easy to talk to and very informative. His standard clear braces are 20%-30% more than many of the pricing I've received for the same treatment from great orthos, he does offer the lingual (behind the teeth) braces which I haven't been offered previously, this will add an additional cost. For this, I am considering him. My only true negative was the blank piece of printer paper I walked out with, which was written on by the staff: Clear: $8,495 Lingual $12,695 Insurance can cover for $1,000-$3,000 $8,495.00 - 1,000.00 ---------- 7495.00 312 x 24 mos No other information provided. From every other ortho I've gone to I have at minimum received a formal letterhead form with a typed treatment outline, financial options (payment plans), and additional relevant info along with contact info. I've even received folders with additional info on types of braces. Can I judge an orthodontist's skill based on the sheet of paper, definitely not, he has many excellent reviews, but it really made me wonder what to expect.

Doctor hall is an amazing orthodontist! He saved me from having jaw surgery! Before getting braces I got two additional opinions one orthodontist wanted to pull teeth, move everything over and then maybe have surgery. Another wanted braces and surgery. Neither explained why. Doctor hall set expectations and explained why surgery would be used to correct my bite if I needed it after the braces. I can't believe it but my bite leveled out, my teeth lined up and now I don't have to have my jaw broken and moved back. OMG- how great is that?! Doctor hall and his staff are extremely professional, caring and, very good at what they do. I am so great full that I chose Doctor hall for my beautiful smile. I couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist and caring staff.

the BEST orthodontist in Houston. The service of the office is welcoming and just AMAZING! They all make you feel like home. I had my braces on for about 2 years and now I cant stop smiling !
