My passion in dentistry is to help patients live healthier andfuller lives by meeting their dental needs, whether it is relieving dental pain, fixing a cracked tooth, straightening crowded teeth, or just maintaining their smiles.
I enjoy working with people every day from all walks of life. Each person brings in their own unique life story; they have pets and children; they may be mothers or fathers; they have jobs and hobbies; they may be experiencing happiness or sadness. Sometimes, as dentists, we're so focused on what's going on in and around the mouth area that we tend to forget that they indeed are still human beings after all. The personal relationships Ive created with my patients are the real reason I love coming to work each day.
Taking continuing education courses allows me to be kept abreast of the most up-to-date topics and news in dentistry, new medicines, and the best dental products and techniques available. Ultimately, it allows me to be a better dentist and enables me to treat my patients more efficiently and effectively. In addition to attending courses and seminars, I am also involved in the greater dental community through my affiliations with the American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association.
Originally from Manitowoc, WI, I now live in Sun Prairie with my wife, Cindy, and our four children, Scarlett, Kelvin, Natalie, and Ciara. When Im not spending time with my family, I enjoy taking in all our beautiful community has to offer, including biking, camping, fishing, bird watching, fish keeping, and gardening.

One of the best dental experiences out there! Dr. Thor and staff makes sure you are taken care of and leaves you off with a great smile. Also, my daughter, who is 11 yrs old used to be afraid of the dentist but has built up her confidence since coming here for the past 4 years. All thanks to the great staff and confidence they had instilled into her!

Had an excellent experience here, they are running a professional, patient-friendly site. I needed a fairly last minute appointment in mid-2021 during COVID and they were able to accommodate me, which was greatly appreciated. The whole team is professional and kind. Dr. Thor is excellent at what he does, approaches medical decision making from a patient-centered, very reasonable point of view and makes great conversation! I'll plan on returning in the future and speak highly of Token Creek Dental.

I have been coming to Token Creek Dental for many years. The staff is excellent, professional and friendly. Sarah is very nice and so helpful when I have insurance issues and questions and she puts a personal touch on every visit. Shyla is a kind, gentle and wonderful hygienist and very thorough. The staff are great and any questions I've had are answered without pressuring me towards any given option. The prices are sane too, which is a huge plus. I've recommended TCD to several folks and I don't have any reason to stop doing so!

Great location with professional and very friendly staff! Their care, follow-up, and prevention advice is fantastic. I've visited several different dental clinics around the Madison area, but Token Creek Dental is by far my preferred choice for my family.
