Wayne Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, community-controlled hospital based in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. We strive to offer the highest quality in inpatient and outpatient care in more than 30 medical specialties. Wayne Memorial Hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level IV Trauma Center and offers a certified cardiac catheterization laboratory, the Heart & Vascular Center.
Our Hospital has 92 acute-care beds, including 50 in private rooms, and an additional 14 beds dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation. Our inpatient rehabilitation unit is a partnership with the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network. We offer physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT) and speech therapy (ST) with skilled certified therapists.

FREE Grief Support meetings 4 Tuesdays in April 5pm 6:30pm APRIL 5, 12, 19, 26 in Conference Room #4 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, 601 Park Street, Honesdale. Support groups will provide a safe place to share and sort out feelings. Participants must fill out a registration form (below) and follow hospital rules for masking and entry screening.

I used to go here and now I refuse and none of my kids go here either after how horrendous they treated them. My youngest at the time is afraid of the dentist as many kids are. When they came in to do anything she screamed and cried. My wife tried to calm her but when a 6 year old is scared and freaking out it is difficult to calm them down and they just decided they would force and power through, which made her scream more. The Hygenist who was doing the preliminary work got mad and stormed out saying she can't work like this. After she left my wife was trying to calm my daughter down so everything could be finished but then the office manager decided she was going to come in to the room, yell at my daughter and berate my wife about it. If you have kids I would HIGHLY suggest not coming here. Where they go now, the workers all know how to work with children and we have not had a single with the new place.

Had an appointment yesterday when I showed up I find out the Dr never came in and the nurse never called me to reschedule. So I showed up and left without having the work done. Very unprofessional!!!

After reading reviews I was skeptical but now me and my mother go here. Everytime I go here the secretaries are extremely friendly and welcoming and so are the dentists which is rare to find these days. My dentist Chaitali Thakker and her assistant are two of the nicest women I have met. They always make sure im comfortable and have great communication with me. I have got numerous work done here and I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Honestly I don't mind going to the dentist much anymore. They're all friendly & great at what they do. I never feel uncomfortable, although I do feel embarrassed here & there for not taking better care of my teeth. But that's job security for them. Plus my kids don't mind going either! To me they are very thorough & kind. Imagine that! Just Be honest & keep your appointments especially! & you shouldn't have any problems. Jen G

Judging by your atrocious grammar, poor sentence structure and lack of punctuation, your "biography is probably as enjoyable of a read as getting a shave with a shotgun blast to the face. And to top it off, you ridicule people who you stereotype as graduating from a hillbilly school, all the while, your review makes you sound like a moron who graduated first in his class from the school of Seemore and Doolittle.

Took my daughter to have a cleaning done, they said it would be less than $100 for kids cleaning. Went in they counted her teeth, brushed them with toothpaste for 30 seconds or so, put fluoride on them that they never said they'd do. They just did it. And sent us on our way and hit us with almost $150 bill...people were very rude and were upset at the fact I took her to a different dentist one other time instead of going back there. Never actually scraped plaque off her teeth....was very unhappy they way they treated her and myself. Won't be going back there...

This place is so unreliable and don't count on them during an emergency. Sadly this dentist is the only one that accepts my insurance, but seriously considering just paying another. Having serious pain in molar so bad I haven't been able to eat in 2 days and have barely slept because of the pain. The pain from it has given me one of the worst migraines of my life to the point of non stop throwing up and severe eye pain and twitching. Kept calling for them to continue to tell me they have no appointments even for emergencies. How the f-ing hell do you have no space for EMERGENCIES. They just tell me to continue calling in case there's a cancellation. I'm about to hit my head in with a hammer from the pain and they can't take emergencies. This place is trash. Everything about it is trash

The office may not be the newest or fanciest but they do offer good dental care. My one complaint is I dislike Dr Ridd he is rather rough and not very pleasant.

PRO's: i went in, found out i needed a filling, and got it next visit after the appropriate scans and stuff. i HATE spending more time than i need at the doctors office, but i feel that i got both quick and painless service, and all the answers i needed to my questions. in fact the filling was so well done i couldn't see where the tooth ended and the filling began! they have seriously talented medical staff in this building! very professional. Con's: sometimes it takes just slightly longer than you'd like to get from the waiting room or exam room to where you need to go with your improved teeth, but with how professional and efficient the doctors and nurses are, you barely notice the wait when/if it does happen. Other: the last time i got a filling while i was in the army, it was with a silver looking substance, however my most recent visit to the dentist (at together for health dental in honesdale) i did unfortunately need another filling! thankfully it was tooth colored this time! it looks so natural i can't even tell where my filling ends and my tooth begins. Other #2: they did have a misspelled sign in their building which was a simple paper print out, likely by an intern or someone, HOWEVER, they corrected it when i pointed it out... take that however you want.
