Dr. Whitlock is a genuine Hoosier. Born in Marion, Indiana, he graduated from Marion High School in 1981. Following high school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Indiana University in 1985. In pursuit of his dream to serve others as a dentist, Dr. Whitlock trained at Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1989. That same year, he opened his doors to serve patients throughout the Bloomington area.
Dr. Whitlock is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is pursuing his accreditation with this highly regarded organization. Earning accreditation with the AACD demands a rigorous examination process involving the demonstration of extensive knowledge and excellent clinical skills.
Serving as a dentist in my hometown is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Im so excited to be able to work alongside Dr. Whitlock as we provide exceptional dental care for the amazing people of Bloomington.
Born and raised in Bloomington, Dr. Richardson knows and loves the community. After graduating from Bloomington High School North, he went on to earn his bachelors degree in Biology at Indiana State University. He continued his path to becoming a dentist by completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Richardson has a passionate interest in surgical dentistry, having completed over 100 hours of advanced implant and surgical training. He is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and is currently pursuing credentialing with the prestigious AAID.

Kind people and very clean office. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule and get my initial client appt and teeth cleaning all done in the same day, which wasn't guaranteed. Dr Whitlock was personable.

I was misinformed on plan of care and the dentist failed to place a space holder after an extraction which caused my teeth to shift. Now I have to get braces to correct and what I was told would be complete no later in July will take at least another six months and of course double the cost. I would not recommend.

I found Whitlocks office after I had been to a few other places and the dentists could not make my partial correctly. But Whitlock made it perfectly the first time. I have been coming here for years and his staff always makes me feel like we have been friends for years. They are so professional but with wonderful people skills. Look no further. As someone who has had my fair share of bad dentist experiences in the past I cannot recommend Todd Whitlock DDS enough. Since I started coming here I don't dread going to the dentist. Not only is everyone skilled and well trained but the customer service is absolutely excellent. Everyone is always in a good mood and so pleasant. I have never had anything less than a superb experience in this office. Keep up the good work!

I have been using Whitlock Dentistry since 2000 with complete confidence in the results of treatment. The staff are so personable and friendly. The appointment process is easy to use and keeps the patient aware of any changes. I always enjoy the experience during my appointments!

Like most people, I have never been one to get excited for a visit to a dental office. That was until I was referred to Dr. Whitlock Dentistry. My wonderful experience may be in part due to the fact that I was a new patient, but the ENTIRE staff brought their A-game unlike any experience I have ever had. From the warm, welcoming smiles beaming from behind the front desk upon entry into the office, to the passion emulating from the dental hygienists, the uneasy feeling I had walking in dissipated quickly. Just when I thought my experience couldn't get any better, I had the privilege to be provided service by Vicki Moser. The depth of her dental knowledge and patient care is phenomenal. Not only did she describe in grave detail her every move, she made the experience more comfortable by exchanging meaningful small conversation. She apologized many times for taking up my time, by truth be told, I didn't mind one bit. Her ability to connect to patients is far beyond what I have experienced before. So thank you to Vicki, Dr. Whitlock, and the rest of the staff behind the scenes for bringing my smile back to life. I cannot wait for my next visit. 10/10 RECOMMEND!!

I love Dr. Whitlock and the entire staff! He works with me, answering my many many questions, explaining things in detail, changing course mid treatment plans when requested etc. The staff are always so warm and friendly, and the ambience and interactions among them make them seem like. Family :)
