While it is true some children may need to see a pediatric dentist during their childhood, most children can be seen by a willing general dentist. Dr Rathke and his staff work hard to provide compassionate and comfortable care for the entire family.

I had a good experience overall back in mid 2018. They nearly used the wrong material for a filling, but this was corrected. The hygienist and the dentist were friendly and professional. The reason why I can't give a good rating though is that I had an appointment scheduled for mid 2019. I gave them adequate notice that I could not keep it and that I would need to reschedule. In July of 2019, I asked them to get me in as soon as possible. They had no openings until February 2020, but it was stated that something would open up and they could work me in. It is now January of 2020 and I still haven't had an appointment despite calling multiple times to ask if they found an opening. I know that I was put in the books for February, but I have been leaving messages trying to confirm the date and time so I can put in sick leave. It is phone tag and I can't even get this information. I should have gotten the hint earlier that they really don't want my business and perhaps don't really care (even though I was previous patient). I guess I am going to search elsewhere as I have been in need of services since mid 2019. This saddens me as I like to form lasting professional bonds with my dentists and physicians and other clinicians, but it just doesn't seem to be possible here.

We have been going to Dr.Rathke for almost a decade. He is professional, kind and the facility and staff are great. They are very helpful with all matters.

Dr and staff are great. Staff is awesome with kids, Dr could use a little work treating kids.

My husband was always afraid of going to any dentist and had not been for years. However I have been visiting Dr. Rathke and told my husband what a pleasant experience I had. He decided to try one more time. He loves the doctor and office! I have found they are very honest. My smile now looks amazing, so happy!

My husband was always afraid of going to any dentist and had not been for years. However I have been visiting Dr. Rathke and told my husband what a pleasant experience I had. I had no problem with the service, but I discovered something very disturbing after going there for a couple of years. I found that they had an employee who was diagnosed with cancer. That employee, obviously, needed time off for treatment. After treatment, the employee wanted to come back part time, the employee was full time before the cancer treatments. She was not allowed to come back part time and was let go. I will not give my money or time to a place that treats employees like this!!
