The patient, his family, and our community are the concerns of Dr. Briscoe and the members of his team. You will experience it during your first visit. The personal care and attention to your needs as a patient will also be obvious your first and every visit to our office.
You will notice Dr. Briscoe and his team demonstrate professionalism and the constant pursuit of excellence in your dental care. They focus on your comfort and needs. In 1981, Dr. Briscoe earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. In 1985, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
After his graduation, Dr. Briscoe served in the United States Navy for three years. While in the Navy, he continued his dental education by training with specialists in the following areas: periodontics (treatment of the gums), endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. During his tour in the Navy, he was consistently ranked in the top 1% by his superiors. His commitment to excellence continues today with continuing education courses. Recently, Dr. Briscoe graduated from cosmetic and orthodontic courses.
During the 30+ years Dr. Briscoe has practiced in the Fort Wayne and New Haven area, he has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Isaac Knapp District Dental Association (the local district of the IDA). Dr. Briscoe served as President of the IKDDS and has been a representative for the state of Indiana at the national dental meetings. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Briscoe is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. The mission of the American College of Dentists is to advance excellence, ethics, professionalism, and leadership in dentistry. He also serves on various committees in our community. He was the chairperson for theIndiana Mission of Mercy(a 2 day free dental clinic for ~ 1,000 patients) 2017 in Indianapolis & 2019 in Allen County.
Sarahearned her Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in May 2014 at IPFW. Sarah also completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at IPFW.She enjoys the patients in our practice and continuing the established tradition of excellent dental care for them.
She is married to Jordan and they have a son named Eli & a daughter named Ivy. They enjoy spending time with their families. She and Jordan also enjoy travelling so you may want to ask her about their next adventure!
Liz joined our practice in April 2015. She was raised in North Carolina and moved to Indiana after graduating from South Caldwell High School. She has been a chairside dental and orthodontia assistant for several years.
Brittney joined us in January 2018 as a Certified Dental Assistant. Brittney graduated from Oak Hill High School then found her way to Fort Wayne and IPFW. There she earned her Certificate in Dental Assisting from the College of Health & Human Services at IPFW.
Brittney & Colton have two dogs, Lottie & Nola and a hedgehog Edgar Allen Poke. Her church, friends, and family are also important to Brittney. Running, lifting weights, and participating in a variety of sports keep her busy as well as watching the Patriots play. When she can get away she likes to camp.
