Dr. Ethan Truong received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia State University in 2009. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. Following his dental degree, Dr. Truong completed the Puerto Rico American Academy of Implant Dentistry MaxiCourse for clinical residency in implant dentistry and is also IV certified
Dr. Truong takes many advanced courses each year to make sure his patients receive the best care available. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, 9th District Dental Society, the Greater Houston District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Truong loves to travel and educate himself on different cultures and their different cuisines. He loves being active by going to the gym and enjoying different outdoor activities like hiking and camping. Dr. Truong also likes to attend different music festivals of all genres of music. Dr. Truong is big on adventure and loves to go to different countries, cities, and explore their cultural background.
Dr. John Carroll received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch (now the UTHealth School of Dentistry) in 1985. He has studied implant and reconstructive dentistry at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is IV sedation certified.
Dr. Carroll understands the importance of continuing education and is continuously learning new techniques to improve his patients experience. He is a member of the 9th District Dental Society, the Greater Houston District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Carroll enjoys fishing and spending time with his family. He has a daughter, two sons, and two amazing grandkids. Dr. Carroll is big on family, so much so he makes our patients feel a part of his family as well.
Dr. Smitha attended New York University College of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry for more than 10 years. Dr. Smitha has obtained a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Implantologists. Dr. Smitha keeps herself up to date with the latest technologies and advances in dentistry by attending continuing education courses. She speaks English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
Dr. Smitha enjoys gardening and spending time with her family outside of the office. Dr. Smitha is a sweet and caring doctor. She cares about the patients dental health and has a goal to focus on preventative dentistry and educating patients about dental care. Dr. Smitha wants her patients to feel as comfortable as possible entering the dental environment and leave with a smile.
Dr. Mark De Anda went to school at the University of Texas at El Paso, where he earned his bachelors degree in biology. He then continued his education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio- Dental School and graduated dental school in 1991.
Dr. Mark De Anda has been practicing dental medicine for 30 years. Patients love his work as much as they love his passion for dentistry. His bright character stands out in our dental practice, which makes dentistry fun.

I have never been to this office, but I do work in a dental office. Sometimes I wish I could respond to peoples insurance comments...because 99% of the time it is not our fault that we have been misinformed by the insurance company. It is NOT to responsibilty of the office to know the details of the patients policy. It is the PATIENTS responsibility to know those details. it is your reponsibility to know whether your cleanings are covered 2x per year, 1x per 6 months, or 6 months plus one day. It is also not the offices responsibilty to know what other offices you have been to, or the services they provided for you. It is your employer that write the details of your policy with the insurance company. It is also not as easy as you think to get information from your insurance companies as they make offices listen to a disclaimer that basically says they are not responsible for the information or coverage details they provide when they are called. Please BE KIND to your office staff. We do the best we can to get as much information as we can, as accurately as we can from Corporate America Insurance Companies.

After an exam at their CL location, I was referred to a gum specialist at their LC location. The office was able to squeeze me in very soon on a Friday. Julie greeted me and was warm and attentive. When the specialist returned from lunch, Keelah input my information and got me back to take pictures and speak with the doctor in record time. She also was so attentive and warm. I know it is chaotic to have a patient come in suddenly with no appointment and have to find a way to squeeze them in but these 2 women stepped up perfectly. Dr. Kim who was the gum specialist was rough and seemed not to care about the high likelihood of me having oral cancer. Stay away from this guy but not from this particular location. It is spotlessly clean, decorated whimsically for Halloween, and Keelah and Julie need a raise!

I absolutely love this office! They are so friendly and helpful. Mercedes even reminded me of my own schedule when trying to make appointments, haha! I had completely forgotten I mentioned it to her the previous visit, but she didn't forget! I also love their ability to schedule us in so quickly and work with our busy daughters' activities. We are so grateful to find a place that we enjoy visiting, most dentists office are not this friendly in my experience. They also have texting capabilities, which is super convenient that don't have to get me on the phone for small things, like sending over the "excused" note for school that we forgot to take with us! Excellent service by the hygienists, caring dentists, as well as above-and-beyond customer service up front. We'll definitely be back!

I stopped going to this dentist because they canceled my appointment 3 times in a row. I was getting treatment for a root canal and they kept canceling my appointments the day of. When I finally show up they tell me I owe them $700 dollars. I had already paid almost $4000 at this point. Then they tell me we called you and told you, you had a balance. No one ever called me to tell me anything about a balance. It was just a nightmare with these people.

This place is a joke since dentists/ownership has changed. They referred my 14 year old daughter to the orthodontist for 5 baby teeth that simply need to be pulled. When I called and asked why she was referred to the orthodontist they said there were no doctors notes in her chart and couldn't give me an answer. They are now trying to change her 4 o'clock appointment tomorrow to 1 o'clock due to an "emergency" tomorrow. Extremely unprofessional.

I decided to drop this dentist after two issues I had with them. The first issue was that they schedule me a day to early to have my cleaning cover by my insurance. I decided to give them a second chance. Last time I got seen, they took x-rays because I was in pain and I was under the impression that my insurance would cover the balance. I received an email that mentioned I had a remaining balance that my insurance did not covered. Spoke with the manager, and told her that someone should have mentioned that x-rays were done recently and that I would have to pay a balance. I am not happy about this office and went ahead and paid the balance and cancel all future appointments. Im taking my business to someone else. Crazy part is the person that referred me to this office already changed dentist too.

I love Todays Dentistry!! I've had to get alot of oral surgery from this facility I've received a dental implant plus bone grafting they did an amazing job making me feel very comfortable I always feel very cared for here thank you for all your help
