Dr. Hamid graduated from Alexandria university Dental school in Egypt back in 1986, then he finished his DDS degree at NYU in 1991, then he started his postgraduate study for his masters in dental Science. Dr. Hamid further pursued his career by taking a general practice residency for a year from Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, then Dr. Hamid toke a partial residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York in 1992/1993.
After that Dr. Hamid polished up on his dental skills and knowledge by taking several mini-residency and seminars, in oral surgeries, orthodontics for the general dentist, cosmetic dentistry, implants and facial aesthetics for the general dentist, after all that Dr. Hamid decided to open his private practice in the heart of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn at the end of 1993.
Since then, Dr. Hamid underwent several mini residencies and seminars in various areas of dentistry to be competent and well trained in all various areas of dentistry including, veneers, Lumineers, dental implants, root canals, braces, facial aesthetics including botox and dermal fillers.

I was referred to Todays Dental Group by my good friend, and now I know why. They replaced a bridge was done incorrectly by another dentist. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy with the results.

I wish I could give zero stars or else I couldn't write this review. Very unprofessional, doesn't care for the patient, deceives his patients and DOES A TERRRRRIBLE JOB. I'd recommend looking else where cause there definitely will be someone else.

I am new to taking care of my teeth and I have been struggling to find a dentist who I trust to do the job. I found Todays Dental Group and loved the reviews so I decided to give them a try. I've been looking for a good dentist for the longest time and someone recommended Todays Dental Group. Luckily, I was able to schedule an appointment with them for the next day. I walked in with my teeth feeling pretty normal and came out with teeth that were 10 shades brighter and a lot more healthy looking. Great job.

Today's Dental Group has an excellent team of dentists and hygienists on staff. I go in every six months for a routine check-up and they also do my teeth cleaning. They accept my insurance so that is a plus as well.

Dr. Hamid has been my Dentist since 1999. He and his staff have always been respectful and professional. Dr. Hamid has always been gentle and concerned about patient care and comfort level. Todays Dental is highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing, kind, caring professional dentist.!!! And staff!!! I've always felt pain from other dentists , and was afraid to even go to be ... but once I came to dr tarek I never left and have referred friends and family to him now all of which are extremely happy that I did! Worse teeth cleaning of my life. A rushed job and I felt like I was getting assaulted the whole time. He didn't even introduce himself and the whole job took literally 5 mins. I've had some amazing teeth cleanings and this is no comparison. This was shameful

Hi My name is Maria I have been going to Dr. Tarek Hamid for almost 20 years now. I moved to Florida and I even fly to be seen by my dentist. Not only Dr. Hamid is an excellent by far dentist, but he is also an excellent human being with a great and honest personality. He will not rip you off and will do and tell you what you really need to have done to have a beautiful and excellent smile. Thank you Dr. Hamid for you care to me. P.S. I wasn't happy with my previous dentist, so my ex-wife told me about Todays dental in Bay Ridge. I'm glad I made the switch. I've always had a phobia of needles. The dentist keeps telling your going to feel a pinch when injecting the needle. I've been here several times and I've never felt the pinch. He knows what he's doing. The only way that I can describe my experience is like when your used to driving a Toyota and then you get into a Mercedes Benz. it's a whole different driving experience. This dentist is my Mercedes Benz experience. Make an appointment and you will see what I'm talking about.

Best dentist and staff in the entire city. Dr is a miracle worker! He truly loves what he does and is not a thief like alot of others in his profession. He is gentle kind courteous and best of all AMAZING at what he does. Also its a doctors office, if you have an issue with your bills call your INSURANCE company. They are the ones who are in the business of NOT PAYING. I have referred many people to him, friends, coworkers and family. He treats them all with respect and does his due diligence. He performed a miracle on me and ill be forever grateful
