Doctor Parikh is originally from India. She graduated in 1979 and came to the United States in 1986. Here she attended New York University, New York and graduated in 1991. Dr. Parikh has been a member of the American Dental Association since 1996.
Doctor Parikh has been practicing Dentistry for over 30 years. In 1999 she opened her practice in Berea, Kentucky. On March 9, 2009 she reopened in her new location at 1007 Ace Drive. This facility is bigger and more equipped to allow Dr. Parikh to better care for you and your dental needs.
Doctor Parikh loves her profession. She likes being able to take her time and talk with you. Getting to know a little about you and to; build trust, understanding and awareness of your dental needs. Dr. Parikh also likes to help people who need the help. She adores children and likes to help with school projects (such as sponsoring school events).
Dr. Geet Parikh was born in New Jersey but raised in Lexington. He attended Centre College in Danville, KY where he majored in neuroscience. After graduating from college, he spent 3 years working in a clinical research lab where they tested novel therapies for drug abuse.
Influenced by his mother, he decided to attend dental school and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (but still, go cats). He likes playing basketball and hockey on the weekends and enjoys taking monthly camping trips.

This is my first experience at a new dentist since my regular dentist isn't able to take my current coverage. I am NOT disappointed! They are super friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. They got to know me. I enjoyed my experience there and will definitely let others know about this dentist office.

I've been to Today's Family Dental about 6 times now....I still feel as special as the first time I walked in as a new patient. The dentist (Dr. Parikh) calls me by name, tells me what he is doing before he does it, and keeps me relaxed during my appointments. If anyone has been putting off dental work because of fear or bad experiences in the past, I highly recommend you visit Today's Family Dental in Berea, KY.

Definitely a dental office that cares about you! I was in the worst pain and they took me in same day and set me up and helped out. They're professional and care about getting to know you. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and now I'm going back to this office in a few weeks to get some dental work done.

I wanted to make sure had some solid experience at this practice before I wrote a review. I have been going to Today's Family dental for about 6 months now. When I scheduled my first appointment I was very nervous as I hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and I have bad teeth. I've had bad experiences with dentists and was afraid I'd be judged, but everyone has been so kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I was given a tour on my first appointment and was impressed at how clean and modern their setup was. They are able to scan teeth which was something I hadn't experienced before. They are able to cast records onto a monitor so they can go over your dental plan seamlessly and also show you any additional info you may need in real time. It was not at all like the painful or embarrassing dental experiences I'd had in the past. The dentists, hygienist, dental assistants, and office staff are all fantastic. Angie takes care of a lot there, but she was patient while we were creating my dental plan. She answered all my weird questions and was understanding as I fumbled my way through trying to understand what needed done. Brittney performed my initial exam and she has been doing my cleanings. She is very reassuring. She did not hesitate at all to get answers for me if I asked something she couldn't answer - which wasn't much, she is very knowledgeable. Having a mother/son dental team was not something I was aware of when I made my first appointment, but it has been quite an experience. It's often amusing hearing them interact. It has a family business vibe, which is rare. It's evident Dr. Parikh (the mother), has many years of experience. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She's always willing to share her experience and pops in and say hello and seems genuinely interested in how her patients are doing. Dr. Geet Parikh is her son and has done most of my dental treatment. He's very professional and easy to talk to. I feel like he may be responsible for the modern amenities the office is able to provide. He's very meticulous in assessing the situation and listened to how I wanted to proceed rather than pressuring me into one decision or the other. There's always something going on from the gift bag at the first visit; to drawings, giveaways, and currently a food drive. They are proudly involved in the community.They even have refreshments and free wi-fi in the waiting area. They have a whole list of items that patients can use to make their visit less stressful. I'm fond of the weighted vest and stress balls myself. If you're looking for a dentist in Berea, I couldn't recommend Today's Family Dental more.

Incredibly positive experience. Every person I worked with had a great attitude and made me feel very comfortable in an environment that would usually make me an anxious wreck. I love that they take the time to take/show you images of everything they're talking about. I will definitely be a long term customer.

I was especially impressed with the dental hygienist, Brittney. I have a long history of gum disease and have excessive plaque build up. I was told I needed to brush better, etc... by the dentist but Brittney actually took the time to tell me how to brush more affectively to make a difference for a more positive overall outcome. I really appreciated that advise and her attitude was one of helpfulness rather than just telling me what I was not doing correctly. That type of attitude and professionalism goes a long way with me.
