Michael P. O'Neil, D.D.S.You might not expect a former wrestler, pole-vaulter and Naval officer to have a talent for gentle precision, but Dr. Michael P. O'Neil, DDS isn't your average dentist. For one thing, he truly loves what he does. Long before earning a degree from Indiana University's School of Dentistry, or serving in the U.S. Navy as a Dental Officer, Mike knew what he wanted to do with his life. Both his parents worked in medical fields, so growing up he had lots of chances to talk with doctors and surgeons, and he was fortunate enough to have a great dentist as a kid.
By the time he graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in Biology, Dr. O 'Neil was already looking ahead to the day he would have his own practice even though he understood how much work it would be. Dentistry isn 't easy, as Mike will tell you: 'At the end of the day, I 'm worn out,' he says, ' but that 's the way it should be, I think. If you 're exhausted that means you had a good day that you accomplished a lot.'
He loves coming in each morning and he can 't imagine retiring. For most folks, it 's hard to imagine enjoying working on people 's mouths, but the challenging nature of dentistry inspires Dr. O 'Neil and so do the results. 'I love it when a patient gets up from the chair, looks in the mirror and smiles. When they look at themselves, and say 'Dr. O 'Neil, you nailed it!' that really feels good.'
In the quest to improve his patients' results, Mike constantly studies new technologies as they become available. When fewer than 3% of offices were doing laser dentistry, and the CEREC restorative system was just as rare, Today's Dentistry had both. But it's not about competition he shares his experience and expertise with other dentists, to help them better serve their patients.

There is a reason Dr O'Neil and his staff have so many 5 star ratings. They earned it. Professional, pleasant and efficient. If you don't have dental insurance they will work with you, and make your dental care affordable. Everything about the experience is top shelf. Phone calls are answered immediately, appointments are on time, and Dr O'Neil and his staff have excellent people skills. Highly recommend this dental office.

This is my 2nd visit to this office. The front desk ladies are so beautiful and pleasant spirited. My dental hygienist is very good and thorough. She washed her hands yo'all before donning her gloves. 5*. Dr Orneal has very good bedside manners. He is thorough in his exams. Overall star rating: I wish I could give the 10 stars. Thank you Team. Extremely professional, highly talented and personally attentive staff. I'm a patient and also used to see their work behind the scenes at the dental laboratory they used for many years. Dr. O'Neil is the best Dentist in the area; no hyperbole.

Everyone is amazing!!!! I moved back to Indiana in the middle of having an implant procedure and they were able to finish the process. I even had a cavity filled and it didn't even feel like I had it done.

Yesterday was my very first visit to Today's Dentistry. Everyone was very kind, welcoming and professional from the office staff to Dr. O'Neil himself. He put me at ease even though I am a very nervous dental patient! He took the time to explain things that were happening in my mouth and get my properly referred to someone who would be able to help with things that his office could not do there. Prior to my appointment, I had to speak with the office about getting records moved from a previous dentist, etc. and they were always very responsive and helpful. It was a great experience and I highly reccommend this dental practice!

Dr. O'Neil and staff are awesome! I have been away longer than I should have been - my fault! They welcomed me back w open arms and a sincere desire to assist w my dental health needs. I can't recommend them enough! Update - June 15, 2022 visit. Once again Dr. O'Neil and his staff provided excellent care! If you're looking for a friendly and professional environment for your dental care, this is the place!
