I am a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry, where I receivedmy Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I have a diverse and, for a dentist, unexpected background. I earned a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from AlfredUniversity and worked as an engineer prior to dental school.

Following dental school, I attended a post-doctoral program and received an M.S. inOral Sciences from UB. Adding to this diversity are classes in sleep apneaandsnoring, computerizeddentistry, orthodontics, and photography.

For recreation, the family likes to boat during our short but gorgeoussummers. I am a big SU Orange fan, especially basketball. The wholefamily is avid skiers, and we spend as much of the winter on theslopes as we can. Our favorite places to ski are Okemo Mountain andMont-Tremblant. Believe it or not, I actually like the winters here. Ieven smile when the flakes start to fall.

As Office Manager at Todays Dentistry, I oversee all aspects of our dental practice. And though I wear many hats on a daily basis, my main focus is making sure that our patients are comfortable and receive the best care possible. I began my career in dentistry more than 25 years ago as a dental assistant. Dentistry was not a path that I had planned but it has turned into a career that I love so much. I enjoy my job and I hope that shows when we are working together.

When Im not at the office, you will usually find me doing something with my 2 children. We love to explore outside,when the Central NY weather permits,at all of our beautiful local parks and trails. My family is made up of extreme animal lovers. We currently share our home with our cat, George and our dog, Zola.

When Im not at the office you can find me with my husband Shaun and our two dogs. We love to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines. I love baking (and eating) pastries, archery, videogames and skiing.

I am one of the registered dental hygienists at Todays Dentistry. In total, I have been working with smiles since 2007! I obtained my Dental Hygiene degree from SUNY Broome in Binghamton, NY and during that time I also worked for a general dentist as a dental assistant. I was raised in Norwood, NY and I currently live in Liverpool with my two energetic children!

I spent the first part of my hygiene career in a dental clinic that focused on providing dental care to low income families. Since then, Ive been with Dr. Pateras and I cannot say enough about him or his dental office. I am very thankful for my job and I find it very rewarding to see what our team can accomplish together. I pride myself on creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all of my patients and I am committed to helping my patients understand and improve their dental and overall health.

When I am not at work, I am focused on my family. We are always on the go, my kids stay very busy with sports including ice hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. We love spending time outside and love to be by the water. You will often find us looking for adventure whether it be hiking, fishing, or just checking out new places.

I graduated from Rochesters Monroe Community College in 2021 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. During my time at MCC, I obtained my license to be a registered hygienist and I also was a residential assistant at the college dorms. I grew up in Central Square, NY and now live in Liverpool with my two best friends, who also just so happen to be my sisters.

I have learned very quickly how important it is to have a strong, supportive team in order to be able to provide to the public in the safest and most efficient way. Every one of the team members in this office has helped me become the hygienist that I aspire to be day by day, as they are always guiding me to be better than the day before.

Outside of work I enjoy listening to books or stories while taking a walk or driving. I spend a lot of time with my parents and sisters. Whether it be getting groceries together, taking the dogs for walks, or simply sitting on the couch I always seem to have a family member nearby. I feel as though I have just begun my journey, but I couldnt be more thankful for where I am today and where I believe I will be headed tomorrow.

Throughout my dental hygiene career, I have always strived to make a relaxing and comfortable environment for my patients to help improve their dental health. I feel that the wonderful team we have here accomplishes thisgoal extremely well and I am very thankful to be a part of it.

When I am not at work, I am with my family. My husband and I enjoy being outside with our daughter and our two dogs. We are over the moon excited that our family is expanding this February and cannot wait to meet our newest member!

I have worked in the dental field for 10 years. I started out doing administrative duties for dental offices including Todays Dentistry. While working for Dr. Pateras I was presented with an opportunity to expand my dental knowledge and learn the clinical side of things as a dental assistant. Over the course of time I have developed a true passion for dentistry that has encouraged me to start on a journey to becoming a dentist. Everyday at Todays Dentistry I am committed to helping our patients receive gentle and honest care in a positive and comfortable environment. Dr. Pateras has a great team and I am proud to be a part of it.

When I am not at work I am with my daughter, Khyla and busy preparing for dental school. During the winters we enjoy sledding and watching movies, but in the summer time you will find us outdoors. We like going to parks and being by the water.

I obtained my certification for dental assisting back in 2015 and I joined Dr. Pateras dental team as his assistant in 2016. I have been loving it ever since! My main goal as his assistant is to give each patient a positive and comfortable experience. As a team, we all stay up to date with the newest guidelines and best practices because keeping our patients safe is our top priority and I am very grateful to be a part of that.
