Dr. Daniel Huffmire was born and raised in Cypress, CA. Heattended Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. After working as a chemist for several years, he returned to school and earned his Masters Degree in Medical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine in Pomona, CA. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency with Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. There he worked at the Regional Medical centerwith medically compromised patientsand completed special training in sedation, oral surgery, and emergency medicine.

Made an appointment this week to get X-rays and discuss my needs with the dentist. I have an immediate need that needs addressed. I have Medicaid but called around and hardly any place is taking Medicaid now except a couple lower income facilities with not great reviews I called this place and they said they don't take it. So I decided I would pay out of pocket so I could get the kind of care I want. I Had a babysitter come all the way from Boise. Showed up and handed them my paperwork. Front desk asked about insurance. I informed them I have Medicaid but I would be paying out of pocket since they don't take it. They refused to see me because it's "Medicaid's policy that they have to bill Medicaid if I have it and it's services Medicaid covers" They then informed me I could go to the lower income place and it's owned by their same company. I called Medicaid and spoke with them directly and it's absolutely not true that I can't choose to pay out of pocket. They said no place should be refusing me just because I have Medicaid if I am agreeing to pay cash myself. Not sure what their issue is with Medicaid patients but the whole experience was very demeaning.

Going to be vulnerable here; I have not been good with my teeth and I had not gone to the dentist in over 10 years because I know I have not had a good hygiene routine with my teeth. I am now older and I really want to have better habits so my teeth don't start falling out due to my negligence. I went to Today's Dentistry and was embarrassed by how my teeth looked. They didn't judge,they were very nice and understanding. They didn't scold me they just went in to help. I went back for my check up after my first clean and it was the first time I ever heard a compliment from a dentist that I am doing well with my new cleaning habits and my teeth look much better now! If you're scared and embarrassed to go to the dentist because it's been so long come here! Amazing wonderful staff that don't make you feel bad about what you have done they are just there to help out.

Amazing experience. Struggled finding my sons new insurance card, Marie was very helpful and patient. Tech and Dr were so polite, very affordable quote. Definitely recommend!

My wife has been coming to Todays Dentistry for quite some time and never had a bad experience until today. Her appointment was at 3pm, the hygienist was not at the office, so another hygienist came and did her injections. She sat for 45 min waiting for my hygienist before she arrived. She then seemed very stressed and her chair side manner, heavy breathing, hand shaking caused my wife additional stress.
