I am originally from Hillsdale, Michigan. I grew up playing football, basketball and baseball. In 2007 (my junior year in high school) we won a baseball state championship. After high school I went to Michigan State University to pursue my education. I received my BS at MSU and did research in microbiology, working on the gut microbiome project. I studied dentistry at the University of Michigan and did research on the Class II Carriere appliance. I was fortunate to have my research published in the very prestigious The Angle Orthodontist Journal. From there, I studied orthodontics at the University Of Michigan and focused my research studies on MARPE, a novel approach to orthopedic expansion in skeletally mature patients.
Dr. Timothy Stroster was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University and then went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to pursue a career in dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1988, graduating top of his class. He then completed a one-year general practice residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, where he gained experience in dental trauma, oral surgery and orthodontics.
After practicing general dentistry for two years, Dr. Stroster return to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to complete a masters degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Upon graduating in 1993, he and Dr. Hamway opened their first orthodontic office in Brighton, Michigan. Several years later, in 1998, they opened a second office in South Lyon and eventually opened their third office in Howell in 2019. Since the beginning, it has always been Dr. Strosters goal to provide top class orthodontic care and excellent customer service to all of his patients while also keeping up to date on all technical advances in orthodontics.

Both my teenage son and I have had our teeth straightened and made perfect by TNT. We always loved going in and seeing the staff and docs . We always felt welcomed and comforted knowing we were getting the "best of the best" care for our teeth. I highly recommend TNT to others .

We had such a great experience at TNT Orthodontics. They laid everything out for us so we were informed on the plan and took special care of my son every time we were in. The staff is absolutely wonderful and always smiling and friendly. Highly recommend.

Just finished phase one with my daughters braces. TNT was great, everyone was always nice and friendly, and everything was explained in detail so I always knew what was going to happen. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Today we completed my son's orthodontic treatment with TNT. He couldn't have received better care or a better result. Dr. Stroster is extremely dedicated to providing a positive experience and outcome for his patients and the staff is amazing, always professional, kind and accommodating.
