Universityof Connecticut's medical programs are combined with their dental programs for the first two years of college. On top of his rigorous dental program, he had to complete a medical core curriculum. Dr. Tagliarini openly accepted this challenge, and upon graduating, he attended the YaleaffiliatedGeneral Practice Residency down the street from his old stomping ground. Afterwards, he completed an intensive residency program at Danbury Hospital.
