I never knew I had TMJ until meeting Dr. Insolera. I never had any symptoms except minor jaw clicking. He explained it so perfectly that I knew I needed to fix it. After getting my orthotic my clicking subsided after a couple days! I recommend the TMJ & Sleep Center to anyone who has a problem with sleeping, headaches, neck/back pain or jaw pain. This approach is non invasive, non surgical, no needles, and no pills. Super simple.

Had a free consultation. Doctor was informative but didn't ask many questions, was definitely trying to sell his services, and was pretty negative in terms of hopefulness without his treatment. Bad experience was sealed when I asked for financial information and they didn't have any. How can you not take insurance but then not have any printed materials available for the cost or range of cost for treatment? Felt sketchy and not transparent. Overall just a weird experience, though I'm sure individuals have had good treatment there too.

I went in for a consult today. He was thorough and brilliant. However, I felt like he was really trying to "sell it"; a little pushy. He spent about 2 hours with me, assessing me, discussing my issues, and discussing a treatment plan. I was pretty sold by the time he was done. Then, I had asked the assistant some questions about "phase 2" that he had glossed over ("we'll get through phase 1 first")- about how long that phase would last. She had casually mentioned "it depends on if you need braces or not". In the 2 hours with the doctor, he had NEVER mentioned the possibility of needing braces...when asked how many people needed braces in phase 2, she had mentioned "about 2/3 require them". Also they had emphasized that phase 1 is usually covered by insurance (medical) ....but phase 2 (dental/orthodontic) (braces, about $7k) is usually not (which was never brought up by the doctor). She also mentioned that if you go through with phase 1, you need to pretty much commit to completing phase 2 as well. I had thought that I was going to get through this within a few months of a few dental appliances and that it would be covered by insurance....but after asking a lot more questions, it sounds like I almost got roped into (likely) paying for several years of wearing braces in my thirties! Also, during the x-ray, they did not offer a cervical collar to protect my thyroid ( I had to ask). Yikes!!!!! THANK YOU to the assistant for being OPEN AND HONEST in answering my questions!!!!!!! I wish I hadn't paid $300 for a consult fee :(

Dr. Insolara and Mary have been very responsive to my TMJ needs over the past 2 years. My headaches, ear aches, jaw pain, bite inconsistencies etc. are gone and my smile has improved. I strongly recommend that anyone with TMJ ( even if you don't know you have it) to go in for a consultation at least. You will learn a lot about yourself, your condition and a plan of action.

I am writing this review using my wife's account since I don't have a Google account. My wife was really sick last year , it started in Dec of 2016 when she got what was thought to be a sinus infection. After many Drs visits and 8 powerful antibiotics, a stay in the hospital for 3 days , sinus surgery where they drilled holes in her forehead to drain the fluid , took away bone from her nose and expanded her sinuses , having extreme pressure on her forehead and nose she ended up at her dentist after almost 1 year of all if this. Our dentist referred her to Dr. Insolara , the consult Dr Insolara had a solution and an answer to all of the issues she was having. After she stared treatment in Sep of 2017 she has never felt better. I am so thankful for our dentist referring her to Dr. Insolara the pressure in her head is gone and she is feeling so much better. Thank you so much , she has a ways to go before treatment is finished but it will be worth it. JKnox

I was diagnosed with TMJ at age 19 and was given a night splint by my dentist that was a temporary fix, however it always needed adjusting. After a period of time that didn't even work anymore and I continued to get other painful symptoms, constant should and neck pain. I'm 54 now I was so frustrated, I had to do something and then I found Dr. Paul Insolera, that says it all!!!!! He is absolutely AMAZING and so is his assistant, Mary. Once I received my first soft orthodic, within 3 days ALL my pain was gone, I couldn't believe it! When Dr. Paul told me that he was going to fix me I didn't think it was possible. I'm almost finished with my treatment and it's unbelievable how great I feel. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Paul Insolera and his staff, you honestly won't find any better treatment around!!!!
