Dr. Cindy was born and raised in southern California, where she became the first college graduate in her family and received a bachelor of science in anthropology at the University of California Los Angeles. While in college, she worked three different jobs one of which was an orthodontic assistant. This first-hand experience inspired her to further her education in dentistry and she went on to earn a dental degree at Boston University. Dr. Cindys passion for working with children is reflected in her past volunteer roles at a local childrens hospital, the Special Olympics events, and several summer camps for underprivileged inner-city children. Naturally this devotion led her to pursue additional specialty training in pediatric dentistry at New York University, where she met her husband, Dr Nikko. She considers herself very fortunate to be in the special position of treating children and loves doing so every day alongside Dr. Nikko in their practice. Outside of dentistry Dr. Cindy is a huge food enthusiast, who enjoys cooking and tasting new cuisines. She also loves barre, painting and traveling to new destinations (she has been to 15 different countries and hopes to experience more of the world with her family in the future).
Dr. Nikko was born and raised in Michigan, where he graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. Coming from a family of healthcare professionals, Dr. Nikko knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in the health sciences. He earned his DDS from Columbia University in New York City, where his experience in global outreach programs sparked an interest in treating children. After dental school, he chose to pursue further specialty training in pediatric dentistry at New York University. It turned out to be the best decision of his life because while at NYU, he met his future wife, Dr. Cindy! When away from work, Dr. Nikko loves to cheer on his Michigan Wolverines Go Blue!, enjoy the outdoors while working on his golf game, lounge at the pool, or explore Austin with his wife, their daughter Calina and their dog Truffle.

The staff here are always so friendly! They have fun games and contests for the kids to participate in. I would highly recommend this pediatric dentist for kids of all ages!

Both doctors have amazing bedside manners and it's great with nervous little ones! They are super patient and friendly and takes their time with them. Everyone in the office is kind and welcoming. We love coming to TLC!

Took my 15 month old here for the first time. Was very impressed by the visit. First, making the appointment was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. Second, when arriving, the office really impressed me. It's clean, modern and very welcoming. Again, the staff is pleasant and helpful. Third, when it was our turn, we had a caring and friendly dental assistant who explained what will happen when the dr came in. When the dr did come in, Dr. Niko, he was very gentle, calm, and very good with our 15 month old. He was very patient, and posed himself open for any questions we had for him, especially as first time parents and first dental visit. All in all, we had a great experience and made our 6 month appointment and looking forward to it! We are happy to have our precious child in good hands at TLC.

My son had an injury & they got us in pretty quick (we were not established patients). My husband took him in & said the doctor was great and I had a fraT experience with the staff while making the appointment.

My kids absolutely love coming here. The staff are friendly and the dentist is great with our little ones. They weren't pushy when I told them I didn't want my 3 year old getting X-rays yet because I wanted to talk to her and make sure she was comfortable with her first experience. They were understanding and respected my concerns.

Wonderful, friendly, organized, efficient and very helpful staff. I love bringing my kiddos here because the decor and set up if you will is so catered to children. TV's on the ceilings to keep the little ones minds off of the dental work itself. The Dentists are always so gentle, kind, they explain everything, take their time with you and love to spread knowledge which is always appreciated! Great Dentistry!

My son suffered two cracked teeth two days before school started. Even though the office was extremely busy, they fit us in to fix his teeth and relieve his pain. Dr. Lee was so kind to my son and did a great job explaining what would happen and kept him calm through the procedure. It was an exceptional experience.
