Dr. David Martino is a native of Clarksburg, WV. He graduated Valedictorian and Student Body President from Notre Dame High School; Magna Cum Laude from WVU in Biology, and is a 2012 graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he won the American Dental Association award for 'Leadership in Dentistry' and 'Ethical Treatment.'
He is an advocate for improving Oral Healthcare in West Virginia. Dr. Martino has spoken before the Senate in both Washington, D.C. and Charleston, WV to get legislation passed for better healthcare for West Virginia, more affordable care for those less fortunate, and better access to care for those in rural parts of the state. He has also traveled all across West Virginia teaching oral healthcare education and tobacco awareness to grade school children.
Dr. David Martino keeps up with the latest technology in Dentistry, including Cosmetic Dentistry, Veneers, crowns, endodontics, oral surgery, dentures, and loves working with Kids. An avid WVU Fan and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Martino is certified in Laser Dentistry and Invisalign.
Dr. Ameena Syed is a WVU School of Dentistry Graduate and was born in Pakistan and then moved to the US, spending much of her childhood in Morgantown, WV. She noted her favorite thing about practicing dentistry in her home state is being able to give back to her community. The people of this State opened their hearts when I first came to this Country, and I will do everything possible to give back to the State as much as I can.After graduating from WVUs School of Dentistry, Dr. Syed completed a one-year general practice residency program to further hone her skills and master new procedures. She felt this added opportunity served her patients well, as I treat my patients with great care and respect, always keeping in mind to treat them as I would my own family.Residing in the Morgantown area with her husband, she enjoys spending spare time hiking and reading.
A West Virginia native, Dr. Cicchino, grew up in the Martinsburg area with his parents, Rob and Kim, and brother, Michael. He received his undergrad training through WVU and is a graduate of the WVU School of Dentistry. While at WVU, he participated in many charitable programs and research projects such as Give Kids A Smile Day, Freedom Day USA, WVU Research Day and more.
A member of the American Dental Association, and the WV Rural Health Interest Group; Dr. Cicchino says his favorite thing about practicing in his home state is being able to help the members of his community.
On his Education and Continuing Education:'I began my education at Penn State where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Science in 2004. I continued on to the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2008 with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I earned my Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Dental Sciences, also from the University of Pittsburgh, in 2011.
I am very involved with continuing orthodontic education. I continue to attend courses each year to ensure our patients are receiving the most up-to-date treatments and have excellent results. I do this to insure our patients the most beautiful smiles in the shortest amount of time. I also attend advanced Invisalign courses only for orthodontists.'
On Life Outside the Office:'I am from Harrisburg, PA, and I currently reside in Bridgeport, WV with my wife Marla and our daughter. I enjoy running, fishing, watching college football, traveling to new places, and spending time with my family and friends.'

Meranda provides 5 star service!! She's been the most gentle on my teeth out of anyone else there and provides you with all the information you need to know to properly take care of your teeth yourself. 10/10!!

They are so kind and patient with my children. The smile defenders section is geared towards kids with decor to look at and TV during their appointments. Our hygienist did everything possible to make my three year old comfortable and at ease.

I went in today and had Seven teeth pulled. They did a great job I didn't feel a thing. Very nice dentist and ppl around the office were great also.

My kids have been going to TLC for a while now. Merranda and Dr. C make our visits so comfortable and stress free. Merranda is caring and meticulous and we can't recommend her enough! Great service.

They are so good with children! The dental assistants are always so so kind and make my boy feel special and safe. My son never wants to leave after his appointment. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend TLC dental. I was so depressed because I was told by Healthrite in wheeling wv that all my top teeth need pulled, and four on the bottom need pulled. I have invested thousands and thousands of dollars, this news was devistating to me. I am only 40 years old so i thought i would need dentures, I decided to go to TLC dental to get another opinion. They told me no way! that i dont need my tops pulled. Only two teeth on top and four on bottom will need pulled. I was soooooo happy! I am so glad I went to TLC dental! I Highly recommend them! They treated me amazing and made me feel comfortable. I get my teeth pulled in November and two partials. I'm so thankful i went to TLC THEY ARE ALL AMAZING!!!!!

Worst incompetent office staff ever. I was a patient for 20 years. They bait and switched my cost of service twice and I finally said enough and changed to a new dentist. Kids trying to run a business. Would rate 0 if possible.

Although we ALL had a rocky start to the day the staff included it ended up being a great day. I couldn't have asked for a better dental team. Even when it's bad we made it fun. Thanks guys for making my whole morning lol turn into a good day.

The hygienists and office staff are always really friendly. The hygienist makes my daughters visit really fun and they do a great job at calming her down when she gets nervous about the instruments.

Got me in as quick as possible to figure out why my mouth hurt and found the problem right off. Got me scheduled for an oral surgery consultation then and there and gave me tools and tips to help until then.

I hated the dentist before coming here . They have done a lot of work to my teeth Dr Cicchino and Merranda were both awesome. I had to have several teeth pulled and filled.I thought I would be in horrible pain after getting my teeth cleaned and pulled but that was just the opposite.I had very little pain and just amazed! Dr Cicchino is very good at what he does and makes sure you have the best outcome with anything he does.I am so pleased with everything!

Knowledgeable doctor and hygienist. Very patient and positive with a difficult 4 year old. I would have left 5 stars but the receptionist was rude and made remarks that I was neglecting my childs dental health even though she could've read his records and saw we have been there multiple times this year.
