I am afraid of Dentists and was very nervous to go today, but as soon as I entered the door, I was greeted by Glenna and Penny who welcomed me to their office and asked if I needed water. My hygienist, Stephanie, took the time to make me feel relaxed and explained everything in detail. She was patient and very understanding of my anxiety. Still not in love with going to the dentist, but I do know that if I have to go to one, then this is where I need to be. In todays world its not often that you find multiple people in the same office that are friendly, kind, understanding and compassionate.

Dr. Tkatch and his staff are extremely personable and go above and beyond to make your dental experience a good one. The quality of care and service that you receive at Dr. Tkatch office is excellent. His hygienist Julie does an outstanding job, she is gentle and personable while working on the patient's teeth. Dr. Tkatch is a dentist who hold's himself to a higher standard, he will work on a patient's teeth til it meets his approval. We have moved a lot, I've been fortunate to find a dentist of Dr. Tkatch caliber.

Dr. Tkatch received his dental doctorate from the University of Tennessee at Memphis College of Dentistry in 2002, where he graduated with Honors. Originally from Moscow, RU, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Civic and Nuclear Engineering from Moscow University of Engineering. He also graduated from the Implant Continuum Triangle Dental Institute in 2010.

Before opening his practice, Dr. Tkatch envisioned a unique dental setting, which was calming and comfortable for patients. He offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with new technology providing all dental services for everyone.Dr. Tkatch is the past president of the High Point Dental Society, a member of the American Dental Association, and a member of the North Carolina Dental Society. He continues his dental education by attending numerous continuing education courses each year. Furthermore, he is a graduate of the prestigious Dawson Academy.With the everyday challenges and changes of our economy, Dr. Tkatch strives to be High Points high-quality provider of general, family, and cosmetic dentistry.Dr. Tkatch enjoys spending time with his three daughters: Alexa, Ashley, and Bella and his French Bulldog, Luna. He loves bicycling and participating in local biking charities. He has ridden for the past three years for MS Society and Lou Gehrig's Disease Society fundraisers. He is a retired professional ice hockey player, so when he is not spending time with his girls, you can most likely find him on the ice.

I always wanted to be in a profession where I could help people. While obtaining my bachelor's degree at the University of Houston, a dentist gave our class a presentation. That dentist sparked my interest and I set a course for dental school. I attended the University of Texas Dental Branch where I got my dental degree. After practicing in Houston, Texas for 15 years my husband and I decided it was time to find our forever home. We had planned a trip to North Carolina. After our visit our choice was made! North Carolina was going to be our new home! We have lived here since 2007 and have had a wonderful life raising our son and enjoying all that this state has to offer.

Dr. Terry W. Dawson, a native of High Point, practiced dentistry from 1984 to 2016. He received his DDS degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He joined the dental practice of his father, Dr. Irby C. Dawson, who started the business in 1952. Dr. Tkatch purchased the practice from Dr. Terry Dawson, and they enjoyed working together until Dr. Dawson retired in 2016. Dr. Tkatch considers it a privilege and a responsibility to care for the patients that have visited the Dawsons for generations. The staff and patients still enjoy frequent visits from Dr. Dawson.

A Registered Dental Hygienist, she has worked with the practice since 1999. She continues to update her knowledge and skills through journals, continuing education courses, and online updates. Since your oral health can affect your overall health, Krista will assist you with brushing and flossing techniques to maintain good dental hygiene.

Stephanie is a 2008 graduate of Guilford Technical Community College. She likes building relationships with her patients and seeing them have and achieve the best oral health. Stephanie is married, and she and her husband have two sons. She loves going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.

Natalie joined Tkatch Dentistry in 2021 and has been working as a registered dental hygienist for seven years. Her passion in her career is building friendships with her patients and educating them on how their oral health is connected to their overall health. She recently moved to the area from her hometown of Las Vegas with her husband and little dog, Django.

Sabina graduated from UNCG with her Bachelors of Science in Biology and was an avid member of their pre-dental society. She joined our team in 2020 and has been a dental assistant for 2 years. She loves dentistry and its ever evolving field, and strives to help patients have the best dental experience. In her spare time Sabina is a clinical instructor at EduDent dental assisting school and volunteers at dental clinics throughout the year.

Anna joined Tkatch dentistry in 2021 as a dental assistant. She earned her certificate from Piedmont Dental Assistants, nc. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in dentistry and creating a comfortable experience for our patients. In her free time she enjoys cooking, hiking, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Prior to becoming Office Manager, Eleanor has over 25 years of experience as a Certified Dental Assistant. High-quality standards and providing excellent patient care are just some of the qualities she adds to our practice. Eleanor continues to educate herself with all new dental procedures and topics to assist the progression of the practice. Her goal is to assist Dr. Tkatch in providing excellent patient care to all patients.

Our Business Manager is a 2011 graduate of Randolph Community College. She graduated with Associate Degrees in Healthcare Management Technology and Accounting.
