Hello, Im Dr. Rami Tahhan. I was born and raised in Northern VA and was part of the first graduating class of Dominion High School in 2005 in Sterling, VA. I attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University on scholarship where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Molecular Biology. From there, I attended dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. My training is a mixture of private practice, focused on cosmetics and general dental health, hospital based dental care, and identification of missing persons in the office of the chief medical examiner.
After working in multiple dental offices throughout northern VA, I developed a fundamental understanding of what patients in our area want and need. As a result, I opened my practice in order to provide a level of care that is unlike any other dental office, exceptionally focused on quality while keeping an eye on cost. Titan Dental Care is a place for patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their dental needs, whether it be cosmetic, essential or surgical. Meanwhile, we will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable.
The team at Titan Dental Care believe in the importance of preventative care. We focus on keeping patients in good oral health so that they can live a full, healthy, and enjoyable life that is free from oral pain. This starts by educating our patients on what they can do to stay healthy at home. In our family dentist office we recommend that patients eat a healthy diet that consists of green leafy vegetables, lean protein, nuts, dairy products, and crunchy fruits and veggies. Eating these foods along with drinking water can help to keep teeth healthy and make them stronger. By simultaneously reducing sugar intake, patients can also reduce their risk of cavities.
It is also important to brush and floss throughout the day. Instead of waiting for bedtime to brush teeth, carry a small toothbrush and use it after meals and snacks. This makes it possible to remove sugar and bacteria from the teeth and gums before it has the opportunity to turn into acid that can attack the teeth. This preventative step can greatly reduce a persons' risk of getting a cavity or gum disease. We understand the importance of taking these steps at home and will spend the time necessary to educate and inform patients so that they can stay healthy overall. Education, after all, is essential for living a long and healthy life.
Understanding the importance of these regular dental exams, the staff at Titan Dental Care work to make each patient extremely comfortable. This includes being welcoming and kind while performing dental treatments in a way that is painless and relaxing. Patients visit our dentist office because they trust us to do just that take care of their teeth and gums, gently. The majority of our patients are local and come from the greater Sterling area, we also see patients that are looking for gentle dental care.

A. First, rinse the irritated area with warm salt water and place a cold compress on the face if it is swollen. Give the child acetaminophen for any pain, rather than placing aspirin on the teeth or gums. Finally, see a dentist as soon as possible.

I had a below the gum tooth get infected on Saturday and left a message for him Saturday evening. He opened his office for me Sunday morning, took x-rays, prescribed medication, and referred me to an oral surgeon in less than 15 minutes. His professionalism, care, and understanding of my situation was amazing! If you need an understand and capable dentist, Dr. Tahhan is the man you should see!

I would like to start by saying that the staff is amazing.. The doctor is completely awesome as well but the staff makes all the difference. With that being said the doctor at this office is out of this world.. He made me feel so comfortable and assured me he could handle all of my crazy requests. He broke down my concerns so that they made sense to me so I could make a more informed decision about how to move forward. This office is sooooooo CLEAN, state-of-the-art, up-to-date with technology and the Times.. BTW-The wait time is basically non existent and there Isn't much that they can't do. If you are looking for a new spot to call home for your oral care..... Just STOP because you've already found it. #TDC #sterling

Never visiting again as first time service is not good went for normal dental cleaning as the service is not upto the mark but I was still ok but when received my insurance bill I see they charged me too much , when I asked them why they charged this much receptionist keeps laughing for no reason and says me you are not paying this from your pocket (seriously if I'm not paying then you guys do it for free) . Not recommending to any one .

Doctor Rami is the best! I took my dad to his office to get his cleaning and fillings. My dad never had good experience with any dentist therefore he was afraid to go to a dentist even though he had many cavities. Dr Rami made us really satisfied and comfortable. He did 8 fillings for my dad. Dr Rami is very professional and kind. His staff was also amazing, they knew what they were doing. My dad was really amazed by his service that's why he wanted me to write the review since he can't write English. I highly recommend going to dr Rami. You will also be amazed by his work. Working as a travel nurse has its challenges, and one of them is that in case of a dental emergency you are left to visit someone you are not familiar with. This was my case a few days back; I had an emergency after my twelve hours shift, and I did not know anyone in the area. Thankfully, and after reading great reviews, I called Doctor Rami at Titan Dental Care. I was in excruciating pain and facing three more twelve hours shifts coming up in the next three days. I needed help and needed it right away. I spoke with him directly, this was at nine in the evening, and he (Dr. Rami) told me to head to his office right away. At my arrival I found the most beautiful Dental office I have ever seen. The place is beautifully done, very modern and with a state of the art technology. I found a very kind and gentle person waiting for me. He immediately assessed my problem, took some x-rays (with a very modern machine) and diagnosed the problem. He presented me with the options, and we proceeded to resolve my emergency. Most of us hate needles and injections. Dr. Rami has an incredible hand! I know what a good professional looks like and let me tell you "this Doc is the real deal". The procedure was done to perfection, painless and swiftly. I returned to his practice for a follow up and got some more work done. I will continue to visit him, and his team, as long as I am in Virginia. I told my coworkers and now I am telling you folks. I had major pain, I needed an emergency tooth Extraction after hours I called the dr's office and in 20 minutes he was there. Dr.Tahhan was so smooth and so professional, I didn't feel a thing. Best Dentist in town.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Tahhan since he opened- for cleanings, whitening, and more. We have also all done Invisalign here and were more than satisfied with the results. Very professional and friendly staff. I have done filling, cleaning, and wisdom teeth extraction, and I have been happy with the results for all the services received. For my yearly checkup Dr. Titan took his time and provided me explanation about my teeth conditions and needed treatment. The best!! Dr. Tahhan fixed me up in an emergency situation on a Friday night at 8:30pm-- when I needed it most... he was there for me!! I cannot recommend him highly enough! Dr. Tahhan was fast, professional, and most importantly-- made my care a top priority. As a long-time Google Guide, I have given numerous positive reviews, but this one goes above and beyond! It wasn't just the efficiency, but the understanding care and obvious mastery of his profession that he displayed so readily that made this such an incredible experience.
