Dr. Tipton has provided pediatric dental care for the children of Hot Springs since 2008. He is originally from Hazen, AR, and graduated with a degree in Biology from The University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Tipton attended dental school at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis from 2000 2004. After dental school, Dr. Tipton worked as a general dentist in a pediatric dental clinic for two years before returning to UT to complete an additional two-year residency program to specialize in pediatric dentistry. During his pediatric dental residency he received extensive clinical, emergency, and surgical training at LeBonheur Childrens Hospital and Crittendon Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Tipton has a specialty license to practice pediatric dentistry in Arkansas and is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and the Garland County Dental Society.
Dr. Jordan Powell is originally from Bryant, Arkansas and graduated from Bryant High School. Dr. Powell attended college at the University of Arkansas where she majored in biology. Dr. Powell completed both her dental school and pediatric dental residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where she received extensive didactic and clinical training in the pediatric dentistry specialty. She received in-depth training in general anesthesia, sedation, and behavior management and gained clinical experience with medically compromised and developmentally disabled individuals while rotating through Le Bonheur and St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Dr. Powell is married to her high school sweetheart, Jacob. In her spare time, she loves hanging out at the lake, live music, bonfires, s'mores, and trying out new local restaurants.

Wouldn't recommend if you have more then 1 kid my son had dentist appointment my daughter had eye appointment right after which are both 8 years old so I got the choice to leave her outside by herself or leave my son on the building with people I don't know by his self worst place to go

I see that you took down the last review it must be convenient to be able to report people with actual issues to Google saying that they're lying about the truth too bad I can't do the same for you don't worry I have many more emails. And what do you know you don't work on Fridays so guess she won't see it till Monday. Don't go to Tipton dentistry the people that work there are inconsiderate and heartless. On top of that they lie and then try to cover their lives by deleting the truth. They don't care about the children or their families they care about your money and the insurance money.

This dentistry is a JOKE and a VERY BAD ONE AT THAT When told that I don't drive, have a car and that ubers don't run at 8am they told me I could get a taxi being unaware of the cost that would incurred. Furthermore they are closed on Fridays and dont do afternoon appointments. VERY INCONVENIENT!!!!! THEY refused to take my 2yr old son as a patient. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

If you use Dr Tipton and have an emergency do not see another dentist. Took my daughter to get some teeth pulled that hurt at a local dentist since Tipton is usually booked up for months and he dropped us. After 9 years of service all I got was a receptionist saying that he would not be seeing her or her sister anymore. I don't feel like it was fair to me or my kids. They didn't do anything wrong and now I have to change up what they are use too. I see several reviews like this which makes me wonder if he's too big now to care about his patients.

Soooo how are parents who have multiple children and no babysitters supposed to bring a child to the dentist when they only allow 1 adult and 1 child in the building. Thank God my teenage daughter stayed home from school today and could sit with my 4yo in the car while I'm inside with my niece 1yo. The Covid Hoax is over. Glad I use a different dentist.

I heard good things about Doctor Tipton and i wish i could have experienced that, but the lady who runs the office is a different story. Stephanie Baldwin has been amazing to my son and if you have issues here go see Stephanie Baldwin she's awesome.

My daughter loves coming here! She gets so excited every time she has an appointment. The staff and dentists are so nice and thorough. They make sure to talk you through every thing they do. I'm so glad we found this place!

Dr. Tipton is always amazing with my girls, they have been seeing him for over 5 years. Today my youngest had an appointment for some dental work. I did not appreciate the new dentist Jordan Powell coming in when the procedure was goin on to talk to Dr. Tipton about the clinic, I felt that was something she should have spoke to him about in private not during a procedure with the patient and mother in the room. She had no regards as to my child. Then when Dr. Tipton left the room she was very rude to my child and so was the assistant. Questioning even takin my girls back and I hate that because we loved Dr. Tipton. Hopefully if they do go back Dr. Tipton's got a control over this situation!

Dr. Tipton and his staff are wonderful. They are a grest addition to the community, go above and beyond to serve the children of not only garland county but surrounding counties. He spends his own money and time serving underprivileged youth and educating families. Hot Springs is lucky to have Tipton Dentistry.

The office people treat people terribly at this office. One time my daughter was crying because she had 4 teeth pulled and Lexi proceeded to tell me that I could not pay her half the bill and her dad pay half the bill because I didn't Pre arrange it with her. Like was she gonna shake me down for $50?? And they also had the reasons that I rescheduled an appointment saved in the computer. Who does that? Any dentist will see a child. You do not have to take your child here and be judged every time you go in. It is especially disturbing when you go to Dr Halls orthodontist office and they treat people golden. Dr Cox is a great dentist take your kid there. And you aren't punished if you reschedule your appointment.

Dr. Tipton is great with the kids, we love having him as our kids dentist. The staff is friendly and always knows the best way to handle the kids especially with keeping them calm and comfortable. Tipton Pediatric Dentistry is, in our opinion, the best kids dentist around.

The female manager called my family a "problem family" and has told them they are no longer allowed to be patients at this dentistry. My family has called for emergencies 3 times in 8 years. The manager is judgemental and bigoted. They say it's a problem that she asked for an emergency visit for my 10yr old sister within a few days when our best family friends have almost same day emergency appointments at the exact same office. The dental assistant and my step mother had it all worked out for a.s.a.p. but the manager decided to lose a family client over judgemental bias. This happened yesterday. (09/08/2020) Mind all, my family has waited literal years for appointments through this office. This office is not family friendly. Period.

Dental Assistants are Great and Very friendly & Doctor Tipton is an Awesome Guy.. I especially like Dr. Tipton bc he isn't the type Dentist to fill every single spot that some would call a cavity. He has his young patients in mind when it comes to dental work and cares about the work he does..
