Tippets in Johnstown went above and beyond for me. The night before we were set to close on our new house, and move out of the city, a crown from a different dentist fell off. TD opened for me the next morning, when they were scheduled to be closed, re-set and adjusted the crown. Then, with the billing they worked with me as I am uninsured for the month. I am seriously considering making the drive up to continue to use them as needed.

Dr Tippets himself is an amazing dentist, but I have only been having bad experiences with the rest of the staff. When I went there a few years ago they were great but lately they have been lying to my face about costs. I went there for a crown a few months ago and I had my money set to pay and when I went in they said I didn't have to pay anything! I was excited and asked them to double check just in case and the girl working at the front confirmed it. But a few weeks later they sent me a bill for around $300 for my crown (after saying I didn't have to pay anything extra). I was furious and when I asked them what happened they said that one of the girls up front made a mistake and credited my account for a payment that someone else made (the payment was made around 4 hours before my appointment for my crown). They would give me no information about anything after I tried calling multiple times. Finally my parents had to go in to get ANYTHING from the staff about the new charges on my account and what exactly happened. A few weeks later I went in for a routine cleaning and when I went in I asked the girl working at the front if she could check if I had insurance and she gave me a verbal confirmation that I had insurance. I got my cleaning done and thought everything was fine. I have now received another bill for my cleaning and have to pay that off all because I apparently didn't have insurance. I am beyond livid about this situation and it's frustrating when you constantly get lied to by a company you have trusted for so long. I have no issue with Dr. Tippets himself, he is an amazing dentist but some of his staffing ruins my entire experience with the clinic.

They want to charge me for routine x-rays that are covered on my insurance and then when I told them I don't want to do future business and cancel my 3 kids appointments that are a month out they want to charge 150.00 more more cancellations. I had been on that insurance plan for 5 years and never had to pay for x-rays.

I just had a wisdom tooth pulled. Doctor Tippet and his nurse and staff were amazing. They knew how nervous and anxious I was, and they make it so easy. They were extremely accommodating and very patient.

50.00 for a canceled appointment even if you give them ample time, ridiculous.

Dr. Tippet and his staff are AMAZING. They are all so kind and helpful. I don't feel self conscious or dread going to the dentist when it's at Tippets. Ashley, Jeri and Heidi have all been so sweet and a true pleasure to get to know.

I have always been terrified of dental work, so I had put it off for a long time which resulted in some pretty decent procedures needing to happen. I thought I was hopeless in all honesty. I have only heard great things about him, so I finally came in and dr. Tippits and his team made me feel comfortable, cared for and in good hands. I came in today and he even let my boyfriend sit in with me the entire appointment which helped a lot with my nerves. He is very caring, professional, extremely empathetic, and has a gentle hand. I am VERY impressed with the work I had done. He makes sure that everyone gets the care they need regardless of their situation. His team was more than happy to help with care credit and financing. I was speechless with my visit today. He and his team are really miracle workers for what they do. I would recommend everyone to him. If you need work done it's a no brainer, 10/10. Thank you so much dr. Tippits for making me feel like it isn't impossible for me to have my beautiful smile back.

Terrific dentistry, if you can be seen. We love Dr. Tippets, he is honest and does not try to sell you on services you don't need, which I really appreciate. He is also a very sweet person. However, his office staff and their business policies are horrible. Two different occasions we have been mistreated by his office staff and now refuse to go back to this practice ever again. The first occasion happened years ago when I had made an appointment six months in advance. They left me a message on my phone on a Friday to remind me of the appointment set for Monday afternoon. I forgot I had made this appointment, so I called them back early Friday afternoon to cancel. I was greeted with their our of office message, so I left a message to let them know I would need to reschedule. On Monday they told me I would need to pay a fee since I did a "no call no show". I told them about the message I left and they replied that in the contract they make you sign it states you cannot leave messages and had to cancel with a live representative. After rounds with the office staff, she told me they would let me slide on this. She smugly sent me the contract in the mail all highlighted in yellow everywhere to prove her point about not leaving messages. Ok, so I just chalked it up to a bad experience and tried to keep a good standing with them, since we really liked Dr. Tippets. This last incidence my whole family took the entire day off from work and school as we had back to back appointments scheduled. My husband arrived for his appointment and they told him they had cancelled all of our appointments. They told him they had sent me messages to confirm and since I did not reply with a confirmation they automatically cancelled our appointments that we had been waiting for a month to have. I looked at my phone and saw that the messages did not start coming in until the day before, most of them in the afternoon. I did not have my phone on me at all that day and apparently that cost me these appointments. There was one voicemail reminding me about our scheduled appointments earlier that week, but in no way did it say that if I did not confirm they would automatically cancel our appointments. I called to let them know this is not the way to conduct business, but they really do not care. You are just a number to them and no matter what I said they were right and I was wrong.

Getting my wisdom teeth removed was a great experience, it was the thing I was the most afraid to do but it turned out being a breeze, friendly and skilled!

Friendly and helpful front desk staff & assistant. Confirmed the work I needed done same as my previous dentist so he was honest about what I needed, just over priced which isn't bad because their entitled to charge what they see fit: if you can get it done cheaper else where you're entitled to take ur business there instead.

I've never felt more confident about writing a 5 star review. I was petrified of the dentist and had a TON of work that needed to be done at only 29 years old. Dr. Tippet has rebuilt my teeth. I didn't think it was possible. Every other dentist pushed hard on implants and pulling any teeth with an issue, and Dr. Tippet was able to save 2 of them that every other dentist wanted to pull. No complications. He just wanted my mouth be healthy and for me to be confident with my smile. Implants will come when I am ready, I've felt no pressure on that. His receptionists are amazing and handled my extensive treatment plan like pros. Dr Tippet was in my insurance network, and his team made sure I got a MASSIVE discount because of this. They knew how to bill CareCredit in a way that would maximize my interest free months. I just can't say enough, they truly do an amazing job. My case was/is very complicated and it felt hopeless, but I've gotten an affordable new lease on life thanks to Dr. Tippet and his team.

I had two crowns replaced at Tippets Dentistry. It was an overall underwhelming experience. I initially had two temporary crowns put on. The first one disintegrated an hour after I got it and the second one popped off later that same day which left me with peg teeth for the weekend until they were open the following Monday. When I went in to get the permanent crowns put on, one of them did not fit. After another month of waiting, I was contacted to set up an appointment to get the second crown on. After driving to their Wellington office from my home in Greeley, I received a phone call as I was almost to the office informing me that they made a mistake and that the crown was not ready. I also wanted to get a retainer to hold my teeth in place. I waited a month to be contacted once my retainer came in. Eventually I contacted the office and they stated the retainer had been waiting for me for weeks and that they had called but not left a message. When I suggested that they either call more than once or that they leave a voicemail in those types of situations, the front office staff blamed it on the staff in the back. When I went to pick up this retainer, they tried to give me something similar to a mouth guard. After explaining that I was looking for a retainer and not a mouthguard they ordered something else and stated they would "make it right". When I went back to pick up this second retainer, I was presented with another type of mouthguard. After again explaining what I was looking for, they stated they would be unable to get a retainer and I would need to go to an orthodontist. The entire process took a solid 4 months and numerous unnecessary trips to their office in Johnstown or Wellington. I would like to say that the end result is beautiful but it is mediocre. I did pay extra and drove down to Denver for the color match. The color is not exact, but to be fair maybe that is impossible. Overall I had an unpleasant and stressful experience with Tippets dentistry.
