Carrie, Business Manager,brings to the practice over 20 years of retail management experience.She graduated from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan,with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1991. Her education in the dental field began in 1998 when she and Dr. Joe purchased the practice and created Tiny Tooth Dental. She enjoys the technological aspect of dentistry and is always trying to improve the day to day functions. As a friendly, caring, no nonsense member of the team, she strives to make this office the very best choice for your family's dental care. Carrie has been married to Dr. Joe for over 20 years and lives in Troy with their three girls, Kiyone, Akira and Reia. She loves reading,the outdoors and shares Dr. Joe's love of food and travel.

Rita, Receptionist, has been working in the dental field since 2018 and joined us in 2020. She is caring, compassionate and excellent with our parents and children. Her ability to speak both Arabic and English has been an amazing asset to our office and its diverse patient population. Currently in school for Nursing, she will be attending Oakland University to obtain her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis in Pediatrics. During her free time, she enjoys her family and friends and loves to cook and bake with her sister.

Rebecca, RDH,is our lead hygenist and has been an important part of our dental hygiene team since 2008. Her calm, sweet demeanor makes her a favorite of our little patients. Providing cleanings, x-rays, fluoride and sealants to children of all ages, Rebecca thrives on her busy schedule and loves her job. She graduated with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.She has resided in Macomb County with her husband John for over 10 years and has three children, Dominic, Lorenzo and Serafina.

Megan, RDH,came to Tiny Tooth Dental in 2008 and has been in the field for over 15 years. She graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan,with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite part of her job is meeting different children and getting to know their personalities. She is kind, caring and meticulous with her little patients.Megan lives in Rochester Hills with her husband Joe and their three children, Max, Dylan and Reese. They enjoy spending time with family, going camping, swimming and playing games.

Alicia, RDH,has been providing dental hygiene at Tiny Tooth Dental for over 15 years. Her time and experience at our office has made her popular among our patients. She loves working with the kids and her awesome set of co-workers. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan in 2005. Married for over 10 years, she resides in Capac with her husband Eric and their four children, Katelyn, Alex, Abigail and Faith. They enjoy spending time together outside on their five acres.

Karen, CDA, RDA,as an alumni of the University of Detroit in 1968, has a vast array of dental assisting experience in the field of dentistry. Her favorite part of assisting is helping patients and their parents be comfortable with their treatment. She really enjoys making a difference in their lives. As a member of the Macomb Dental Assistant Association and a TS and substitute teacher for Ross Medical Education (Dental), she also spends a great deal of time continuing her dental education each year. Married for 39 years before her husband passed, Karen lives in Almont and has a daughter and four wonderful grandchildren. She is a member of the AYBA (Board of Baseball) and enjoys walking, bike riding and landscaping in her free time.

Hailey, RDH, had just earned her one year anniversary with Tiny Tooth Dental when she was abruptly taken from our lives. In the process of finishing her BS in Dental Hygiene with Ferris University in May of 2022, she looked forward to growing her knowledge in pediatric dentistry and learning to treat all different types of patients and behaviors. She was enthusiastic, upbeat and always had a smile for everyone. Demonstrating an ability to work with even the toughest kids, Hails was one of the most genuine people we have met, which made her a great fit with our little patients. She always brought her patients back with Hi, how are ya? and Im fine, thank you for asking! She lived in Harrison Township with her dog, Jax, and two cats, Hope and Sebastian. Her favorite place to walk her dog was through the nature trails and they enjoyed finding new ones to explore. Some of her favorite activities were spending time with family, kayaking and going to concerts during the summer with her friends. Expecting her to be a part of our team for many years to come, her absence has left our team heartbroken and created a void in our office that will be difficult to fill. She was a beautiful person who will be missed by all.

Rosalyn, Financial Administrator,had been with Tiny Tooth Dental since its inception in July of 1998 and was instrumental in growing and expanding the business for 19 years. She succumbed tragically to cancer in early 2018, and remains forever a huge contributor to the success of our practice. She had over 25 years experience in the dental field beginning with a co-op position in high school. Roz handled HR, insurance, billing, collections and filled in wherever she was needed. She covered at reception and even assisted Dr. Joe when he was shorthanded. She had a great rapport with all and would do anything for the office. You could not find a more loyal, trustworthy associate and partner. But most of all she was our friend and we loved her like she was part of our family. We would have done anything for her. Her warm smile, her great sense of humor, her contagious laugh and her generous heart will be missed by all. We would not be where we are today without our Rozzie, and we know Heaven has received a wonderful, amazing addition to its host of Angels.

Dr. Joseph C. Tuazon was born in Detroit, Michigan,a first generation Filipino of parents who emigrated from the Philippines to the United States during the 1960s.His father, Ernesto Tuazon, MD, was an enormous influence and role model in his life. As a pediatrician in the Metro Detroit area, he encouraged Dr. Joe to pursue a career in healthcare.

Choosing to focus his studies in the dental field, Dr. Joe completed his pre-dental education at Central Michigan University in 1990 where he met his future wife Carrie. After being accepted to both the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Michigan Schools of Dentistry, he made the decision to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery in Ann Arbor, Michigan and married his college sweetheart in 1995.

Mirroring his father's care and concern for children,Dr.Joe chose to continue his dental education by specializing in pediatrics. Following the completion of his Pediatric Dental Residency and Fellowship in 1998,Dr. Joe saw an opportunity to move back to Troy,Michigan, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,and practice dentistry in his hometown. In July of 1998, he and his wife Carrie established Tiny Tooth Dental and served the local area children for nine years.In 2007, a dental colleague offered him space at Maplewood Professional Center in Sterling Heights and he was able to design and build a brand new state-of-the-art facility. Tiny Tooth Dental has been serving Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties ever since.

Dr. Joe spends a considerable amount of time each year taking classes and seminars to refresh and expand his knowledge base. Dedicated to the continuing improvement of his facility through updated materials, better methods and procedures and improved efficiency,he spends his down-time perusing dental publications and internet surfing. His love of dental 'gadgets' provides the office with new and better dental technology. He believes every improvement large or small will provide his patients with the best dental experience.

Dr. Joe grew up in Troy, Michigan, with his parents and three brothers. A dedicated family man, he and his wife Carrie have three beautiful daughters that fill their lives with joy.Named for Japanese Anime characters, Kiyone, Akira, and Reia have been influenced by multiple cultures their entire lives.

He spends a great deal of time with his family, enjoying food, wine, and travel. He is particularly fond of sampling new restaurants wherever he visits. Diners, burger joints, and fine dining; virtually any restaurant with a good rating and a tasty menu.His hobbies include music, movies, video games,comic books,and Japanese Anime.
