Dr. Douglas Tinloy was born and raised inOakland and has livedinthe Bay Areahis entire life. He attended the University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry where hewas a Regents Scholar,graduated first in his class,received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degreeand certificate in Orthodontics. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.*
Dr.Tinloyhaspracticed orthodonticswith Dr. Harry Chinintheiroffices inSan Francisco and Oaklandfor over 35 years. Dr. Tinloy will soon practice exclusively in the Oakland office withhis son,Dr. Jeff Tinloy.Dr. Tinloy is proud of his three successful sons, their wives, and his seven grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with hiswifeElena, their family, and friends. He also enjoys traveling, and playing tennis.
Dr. Jeff was born and raised in the Bay Area. He attended college at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA as part of an accelerated 2 year pre-dental program. Dr. Jeff then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry located in San Francisco, CA. He graduated from dental school with high honors as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors society. From there, Dr. Jeff went on to complete his Orthodontic education at the Dugoni School of Dentistry with a degree of Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). After graduation he was happy to join his father, Dr. Douglas Tinloy, in his established Orthodontic practice. Dr. Jeff furthered his achievements in the field by becoming an American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Board Certified Orthodontist.*
