Each and every day I wake up feeling incredibly blessed and privileged to be an orthodontist. My commitment to my patients is something I do not take for granted, and I strive to deliver nothing but the best orthodontic care to create for my patients a beautiful and lasting smile. Because a great smile builds self-confidence, and having a good bite is crucial for good overall health, I believe in the significance and lasting value of practicing excellent orthodontics. Along with my practice, I am genuinely excited about providing excellent orthodontic care while keeping the entire experience positive and fun for my patients.
In 1996, I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Missouri. I went on to graduate with my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with distinction from the universitys Kansas City Dental School in 2001. Then, in 2004, I completed my Master of Science in Orthodontics at Boston University. Throughout my education, I was awarded the following academic and professional accolades and achievements:
Because I understand the importance and significance of giving my patients the best and most up-to-date care available, I dedicate an extraordinary amount of time to continuing my education to keep current with the most recent orthodontic trends and techniques. I often participate in new product research and development for 3M Unitek, a company that makes the very best products available to orthodontists. At the heart of everything I do is my family, and they are my passion and utmost joy. My wife, Jennifer, also graduated from UMKC and was a practicing dentist for several years before she decided to dedicate her time fully to being an at-home mother to our three beautiful little girls, Tatum, Talia, and Taizley. I love nothing more than to spend time with my wife and daughters. We often spend our time together playing sports, taking hikes, and attending and cherishing the important moments in our lives.
Part of the reason my family and I moved to Manhattan is because of my love for college sports. I love to watch the K-State Wildcats in the basketball and football seasons. Aside from college sports, and when I have the time, I personally enjoy playing basketball, golf, and tennis. I also enjoy staying in good shape and health by jogging.
The topic of cancer research is something that is laid heavy on my heart, so at my practice, we hold an annual fundraiser in October for cancer research and awareness where we donate our time and finances to this important cause. Our patients are included in this fundraiser through an end-of-the-month drawing for anyone who bought one of our Tindall Cancer Awareness T-shirts or donated money in any way.
We also pick one other local organization each year to which we donate time and money. I am also an active proponent of Smiles Change Lives, as I enjoy helping kids who are in need receive a deserved, beautiful smile for life. In addition, I am on the Board of Directors for the Manhattan Basketball Association and the First Tee of Manhattan, and I dedicate time to the YoungLife Christian Organization for the youth in our community.
I am committed to dedicating my time and money to many of my patients organizations, such as schools, sports teams, churches, pageants, and all other local organizations that are important to my patients. I believe that giving back to my wonderful community is one way of thanking my patients and their families for placing their orthodontic care in my hands.
Our orthodontic team consists of highly qualified professionals with many years of experience in the orthodontic field. We are committed to excellence in orthodontics and life-long results for our patients.
We keep up to date with the advances in orthodontic treatment and enhanced patient relationships by attending continuing education seminars in addition to ongoing training by Dr. Tindall. All staff members belong to the AAO Orthodontic Staff Club.

1 star because the staff was really nice for what it's worth. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover how I feel after receiving treatment here. He's too busy. It's just him in an office with about a dozen and a half stalls for patients. If there is a patient that requires extra time, it will push everyone back, which means longer wait times. This isn't my problem. I started lower tooth crowding and chose to go with invisible aligners and quickly realized that they were not for me. I had a bad habit of grinding my teeth and chewed through them fairly quick. It was obvious that I was going through the aligners faster than they were able to move my teeth and would no longer fit. I brought up my concern to him and was told he only ever had one Ft. Riley soldier with the same issue and rolled away. Quite literally rolled to the next patient because he was out of time. After this I wanted to switch to another provider but was assured that I would be receiving the proper care. Traditional braces were not any easier, we constantly pushing back the removal date due to a stubborn tooth. At around month 28 of what was supposed to be an 18 month treatment I decided that I was ready to be done. They were miles better than when I started, but this led to tightening of braces every 2 weeks. I voiced that this hurt a lot but was assured it was normal. When it was time to remove them my top front teeth were so damaged. I have two caps on the front two teeth I planned to get redone, apparently Dr. Tindall assumed that since I would be working on those two it was ok to damage additional teeth and I could get them all done at once. My teeth look awful, they are discolored, the cracks are all around my top front teeth and bottom front teeth. When I told him that wasn't my plan he stared at me like a deer in headlights, said he would text my dentist and walked away. That's it. That is how my treatment ended. I was left with cracks, discoloration and a ton of pain. And now I am going to spend the cost of the braces ($5800) on cosmetic repairs let alone the restorative work. Go elsewhere, braces are expensive find some place staffed appropriately with orthodontists or with a doctor that cares.

Fantastic staff and Doctor Tindall is very friendly. One of our daughters has had to have braces for an extended period of time and we chose them over the others because Tindall wanted the least invasive procedure while the other two suggested the removal of several teeth to hurry the process. Everyone is amazing! would highly recommend to anyone!

I cringe going to a dental or orthodontist clinic or any clinic/physicians office for that matter. But this place is different. Everyone here is motivated, efficient and knowledgeable. Staff seem to enjoy their work (where and how do you recruit your employees?)!!!!!

Great people, but the repair glue they did on my retainer only last one month. Then they did not call back to fix their mistake had to go somewhere else.

Couldn't be happier with my new smile through the help of Tindall and his staff. Went through orthodontics with them for 18 months. Within that time having a Lefort 1 Osteotomy performed. The overall experience with Tindall was amazing. Funny, friendly, and caring atmosphere every time you walk through the door for your appointment. They all truly care about their patients. They work with you at every turn and make the process easy and convenient on you. Never had a problem getting in the same day if I had something snap or cutting into my cheeks. Would highly recommend them to anyone who may be considering orthodontics. The outcome will be well worth the cost and time.
