With several years of experience in all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Tina Ghotanian has been able to establish multiple locations to better serve patients in Toluca Lake, Pasadena and La Caada communities. Dr. Ghotanian specializes in Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Preventative Dentistry and general Dentistry. She established her dental practice after graduating from Dental School. She continues to keep her herself updated with the latest technology and techniques in dentistry through continuing education programs. She has particular expertise in matching porcelain crowns to the patients natural teeth, as well as techniques to improve the fit and aesthetics of crowns and bridges.
Been going here for 8 years and they are the kindest staff and always do an amazing job! They do their scheduling well so I never have to wait long when I try to sneak in from work. The whole staff is very knowledgeable with any question you may have. I definitely recommend them!

Recently I broke my tooth and they got me in the same day and I got a crown and it feels great. I was terrified of the dentist and I was relieved to take care of this without any pain or discomfort. She is great and I would recommend them.

I would avoid this practice if at all possible. I was referred by a friend when I moved to the area, and the only positive thing I have to say about the experience is that Dr. Ghotanian and the hygienists were friendly. Yelp is full of reviews with experiences similar to mine, so it surprises me that there are none listed on Google. First, I waited for about a half hour past my scheduled appointment, due to "issues with our system." I was taken into the X-ray room, and these had to be taken multiple times, due to "issues with the system." Finally, I was seen by a hygienist who told me I needed a "deep cleaning". Never before had any dentist offered any indication that this could be necessary in the near future. Dr. Ghotanian came in for a minute to confirm that I had no cavities, but would need a deep cleaning on a future visit. And that was the end. I was blown away. There were more communication issues after that with the insurance pre-approval for the deep cleaning, which again got blamed on "our system." My favorite part was when I later checked my insurance's explanation of benefits for the visit, and they had been billed for a full cleaning, which never happened. The whole experience didn't feel right, so I went to another dentist in the neighborhood, who said everything looked great, and a routine cleaning would suffice. No multiple visits, no expensive, invasive procedures. I've since moved and gone to a new dentist twice, with the same comments. I remain utterly confused and disappointed by the entire experience with Dr. Ghotanian's office.

2 stars for Dr. Tina Ghotanian because she's a nice and professional dentist. The office staff however, is not. Last October, I called to confirm MY OWN appointment only to find out they lost my appt (which I had scheduled work off in advance). Frustrated, I tried to reschedule only to get hung up on over 3 times. Apparently, they were having internal phone issues which is understandable, but the receptionist attitude with me was nasty. Fast forward to my most recent appointment. As I was checking out from my cleaning, I asked the receptionist how much Invisalign typically costs (there is typically a range since it's not a one size fits all treatment). She acted so annoyed and responded "it's going to be at least 5k" and spoke to me in a way where she was almost implying I couldn't afford it, I was so offended. That was my final straw with this office. 1) I can afford Invisalign, me asking for a price range is totally acceptable 2) I don't understand why a receptionist at a dental office needs to be giving a patient attitude. 3) 5k for a simple Invisalign treatment for someone who has already had braces is actually outrageous. Anyway, I just chose a new dentist and orthodontist where I spent $2100 (my portion, not including insurance) for my Invisalign treatment AND they have a gorgeous, modern, up to date office where Dr. Ghotanian's office is seriously lacking. However, the look of an establishment is never my priority, my treatment and service are which I ultimately found unsatisfactory.

Dr. Ghotanian is my favorite dentist! I have been going to Dr. Ghotanian for over 8 years. She is professional, thorough, takes the time to answer any questions you may have/explain procedures, and has a very caring manner. Office visits have short wait times. She & all of her staff always make office visits a pleasant experience.

My friend just went to this practice for teeth cleaning, see her invoice attached. Her insurance paid for 80% off the treatment. THE TOTAL IS 20% she has to pay OUT OF POCKET! Which came to $300 for teeth cleaning (that's what 4 charges of $72 are for). The total for teeth cleaning without insurance would be $1500 for simple teeth cleaning. Are you kidding me???? They invoiced her for a teeth feeling $600 (would be $3000 without insurance!) Unbelievable
