Dr. Raborn was raised in the Central area and graduated from high school in 1977. He then attended the United States Air Force Academy for two years before returning to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University to complete his undergraduate studies. In 1981, he was accepted to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Upon receiving his degree in 1985, he returned to the Central area to begin his career in dentistry. Dr. Raborn has been practicing in Central since July 1, 1985.
Gentle care, advanced clinical knowledge, an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, as well as cosmetic enhancing services such as Botox Cosmetics and Juvderm fillers are some of the things we take pride in offering the City of Central and surrounding areas.
Barbara Christopher, nicknamed Babs, graduated from Loyola University with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2000 she attended LSU to become certified in administering anesthesia. Babs also taught clinical courses at Loyola University for five years in head and neck anatomy.
She has practiced dental hygiene for 30 years. Babs worked in New Orleans for most of her career. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, she joined Dr. Raborns staff. As a testament to her excellent professional care, many patients from the New Orleans area travel to Baton Rouge regularly to continue their hygiene care with Babs. She loves her patients as well as the staff and plans to continue working with Dr. Raborns office for many years.
Charlene joined Dr. Raborns team as a business assistant in 2001 and currently works in the office two days a week. She enjoys talking with patients about the treatment they need and assisting with their dental insurance. Born and raised in Central, Charlene has been married to her husband, Bob, for 38 years. She enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Rachel joined our practice in May 2017. She is an alumni of Central High School & received a Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Louisiana University. Rachel loves working in the small town she was raised in and meeting all the new and familiar faces. Rachel was married in 2019 to her husband, Tiler. Rachel enjoys spending time with her three dogs, Ava, Olive, and Pepper, her family, and best friends.
Debbie joined the outstanding staff at Dr. Raborns in June of 2021. She has been in dentistry for 15 years and is a graduate of Delta College. In 2005 she receivedher Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification and Radiology in 2006.
Debbie was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She lives in Central with her wonderful husband who shes been married to for 31 years, with 2 beautiful daughters and a beautiful granddaughter. Debbie loves spending time with her family, going hiking and canoeing. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, and walking thedogs. Debbie is proud and excited to join Dr. Raborns team!
Becca joined our practice in February 2018. Her experience in dentistry began in 2008. We are super excited to have her as part of our team. Her top priority is that our patients have a positive experience and always leave with a smile on their face. In her free time, she enjoys fishing and spending time in the great outdoors with her family. She welcomes the opportunity to meet you and provide you with an exceptional experience.
Bonita joined our team in November 2018. She began her career in dentistry in 1991. She received her Extended Duty Dental Assistant certification in 1995 while working in pediatric dentistry. Prior to being here, she was an insurance coordinator in general dentistry. Bonitas goal is to make her patients as comfortable as possible and enjoy building lasting relationships with them. She is also a licensed cosmetologist.
Bonita has resided in Denham Springs, Louisiana since 2005. She has a son, daughter, and three granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, gardening, photography, and spending time with loved ones.
Rebecca was born and raised in Baton Rouge, her journey in dentistry began in 2000. She has two amazing teens. She loves meeting new people and providing her patients with gentle, compassionate care. She is so thankful to be apart of the Raborn family.
In January 2011, Amie joined our outstanding staff at Dr. Raborns office. Amie has been a great asset to our staff, and helps in all areas of our office. Amie is EDDA and Radiology certified and has been a chair-side assistant since 1991.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Amie has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jacob Fry, Jr. since 1992. They have four amazing children Coby, Lauryn, Lindsey and Laynie. She and her family are PROUD Central residents.
Amie treasures time with her family. She enjoys nature, photography, fishing, music and painting. She takes pride in making our patients feel comfortable and welcome while making their visits an enjoyable, happy experience!
Lisa joined Dr. Raborns team of business associates in August 2016. She has specialized in executive office administration within financial businesses since 2001. Her years of customer service experience make her an asset to our team and result in her assuring outstanding care for every patient.Originally from St. Landry Parish, she relocated to Baton Rouge in 1998. She and her husband have lived in Watson since 2008. She is the proud mother of two amazing daughters and hasfour wonderful grandchildren! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening with her husband, relaxing in the pool, reading, crafting, photography and has an undying passion for giving new life to all things vintage.
Summer joined our practice as an administrative professional in October of 2021. She has 4 years of experience in the dental field, and we are happy to have her on our team. Her goal is to ensure that each patient is treated with quality care and feels completely comfortable.
