Dr. Delcambre was born and raised in St. Martinville, Louisiana. He graduated from St. Martinville Senior High School in 1974 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in 1978. Hegraduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1984 and did his post-doctoral residency at Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans. He received his Master of Health Administration in 1994 from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. In 2004,he was tested by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland and received a Membership Diploma in Special Needs Dentistry.
Dr. Delcambreis a past Associate Clinical Professor of General Dentistry at LSU and past Director of the General Dentistry Residency Program at Charity Hospital of Louisianaat New Orleans. He is a past President of the Louisiana Academy of General Dentistry and Chairman ofC.W. Rossner Lecture Planning Committee at Touro Infirmary.He also serves asaBoard Member of the Louisiana Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Since 1988,he has volunteered and donated dental treatment for the handicapped through referrals from the Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
Dr. Delcambre has been honored with many awards and special honors with his work at the LSU Dental School and in organized dentistry.He is a Master of the Academy of General Dentisry, a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard International Honorary Society. In 1997, Dr. Delcambre joined the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, Theta Kappa Chapter. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Society, New Orleans Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Hospital Dentists, Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities, American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has also been recognized as a Top Dentist by New Orleans Magazine.
Dr. Delcambre and his wife, Leslie, have four children, Stephanie, Douglas, Victoria, and Katherine and two grandchildren, Eli and Jude. He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and being an active member in the Mardi Gras Krewe of Hermes.
Dr. Delcambre graduated from East Jefferson High School in 2005, and attended the University of New Orleans where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 2009. He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry with a DDS degree in 2014, and commissioned into the US Navy to serve on active duty. He did a general practice residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. After his residency, he was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and assigned as a dentist onboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. While on board, he was privileged to travel and visited South Korea, Guam, Singapore and Australia. After 2 years spent in Japan, he transferred to Camp Pendleton where he helped run one of the dental clinics on the Marine Corps base. After 5 years of active duty, he is excited to come back home and start a new career in private practice while continuing to serve in the Navy Reserves. Over the past 5 years, he has gained skills in CAD/CAM dentistry, complex anterior restorations, and restoring dental implants. He looks forward to bringing these skills and learning more to give the best care to his patients.
Lisa was born in Vietnam and cameto theU.S. in 1975at the age of one. She was raised in Houma, Louisiana. Shegraduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeast Louisiana University in 1996 with a four year Bachelor of Science degree. Lisa joined Dr. Delcambre's team in 2002.She is the recipient of the Arkansas-Louisiana-Mississippi Dental Specialty Center Award for Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in the Science of Oral Pathology and Head and Neck Anatomy.
Karen was born and raised in Edgewater Park, New Jersey. In 1985, she earned an Associate Degree in Accounting and Computer Programming from Taylor Business Institute in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Karen moved to the New Orleansarea in 1994. Shortly after moving to Louisiana, she began her career in dentistry and joined Dr. Delcambre's team in 2000.
