Dr. Adams graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1983 and started his private practice in Nora shortly after his associateship. His ties to the dental school brought Dr. Adams back to the clinic teaching clinical dentistry for 5 years . It was at that time, Dr. Adams realized how much he enjoyed teaching and being involved in the advancement of dentistry. As a result of his passion for dentistry, he lectured and published over 21 articles in national and international textbooks and journals. Dr. Adams and Heather are amazing! I've been seeing Dr. Adams for at least 10 years, and honestly, don't ever mind ever going to the dentist. I first became a patient when I got veneers, and Dr. Adams did an incredible job!! My teeth were pretty bad because of grinding, but my teeth look amazing since the veneers! I regularly go there for my cleanings and when I've any issues or concerns. I highly recommend them!

Great Office experience! Dr. Adams is the best. I had to get a new crown on my implant because my old crown broke. All went well! No anesthetic and he even had to work around my gum tissue. Did NOT hurt at all! His bedside manner is awesome. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Dr. Adams and his team are extremely knowledgable, gentle, progressive, compassionate, and professional. Heather provided the most gentle yet thorough cleaning I've ever had, plus, her overall vibe was genuinely friendly/chill/comforting. The last hygienist I saw at DentalWorks Clearwater (thanks to junk insurance I had through a previous job) was BRUTAL... I was nervous about getting back in the chair, but I didn't feel nervous with Heather for a sec. She completely restored my faith in her profession. Dr. Adams' vibe mirrors Heathers! Furthermore, I was really impressed by how he was able to identify dental-related health issues I had simply by looking at me, without me mentioning them or listing them in my health history. He really connects the dots. As a former orthodontic assistant and health coach, I really appreciated his knowledge/expertise around holistic dental practices as well. Dr. Adams clearly stays current on the latest research/practices and has his patients best interest in mind. They have invested in high quality tech, which is important when considering things like cleanliness and radiation exposure. Perhaps saying the following is beyond what this review calls for lol, but it means the world to me when my friends are taken care of, so here goes - I made an appt with Dr. Adams and team through the recommendation of a friend who has had wonderful experiences with them. Dr. Adams compassionately listened to her when others wouldn't and got to the bottom of her dental issues - issues other doctors were not able to identify, or dismissed. Dental health plays a key role in overall health/longevity, and I wouldn't doubt he's added years back to her life. Had the issues she had continued to be ignored, they no doubt would have led to major issues down the line. Thanks are due to the receptionist as well - I feel terrible for forgetting her name, but she did an amazing job answering the million questions I had and she also made scheduling a breeze. Thank you Dr. Adams and team!

I need an extensive amount of complex dental work. Three experienced dentists had examined my teeth. There was no consensus each had a different opinion. That confused me so I visited Dr. Adams on June 16th. He was the most knowledgeable and his solution made sense to me. He spent a lot of time with me and answered the questions I had so far. He and his assistant were friendly and treated me with respect. I left thinking I'd finally found a solution to my dental problem. But after the next six weeks, I haven't been able to see a path forward. I'd still rather have Dr. Adams do the work I need than post a review. Problem is the front office person is very different from the dentist. At the exam, I gave my primary/secondary insurance cards to a lady at the front desk. I explained claims go to primary health plan and they forward to secondary dental plan. No other dental office I used in 35 years had a problem with using this BC/BS process. So I was surprised to get an EOB showing the claim for the exam was DENIED. Brittany had only copied my 2nd card and sent the claim direct to my 2nd plan. Way she got it paid only worked because I chose lowest health plan (only has accidental dental). Won't work years I pick a higher plan (both include preventative/diagnostic/restorative dental). A week after my visit Brittany emailed the attached estimate for my treatment plan. For 16 crowns it shows insurance and patient each pay 50% of the office fee schedule. For 12 cosmetic veneers it shows insurance paying 70% and patient paying only 30%. That would be nice but the dollar amounts aren't close to correct for any of the teeth. I explained this didn't agree with my BC/BS plan and doubted that they pay for veneers. She changed the veneer insurance amounts from 70% to 0% and resent the estimate. But didn't use my plan's fee schedule so the crown amounts still weren't even close. For weeks Brittany claimed she kept calling my insurance but couldn't get a fee schedule. On June 22 she wrote, "I still haven't heard back from the insurance fee schedule department". And July 6th, "I still haven't heard back for a fee schedule and have left multiple voicemails". So on July 9th, I complained to my insurance and requested they fax the schedule to her. They emailed same day, "The network has faxed the fee schedule and left voice mails for the office". By phone, a rep said all calls are logged and Dr. Adams office ONLY CALLED THEM ONCE (July 7th). And BC/BS called back, "The network reached out to the office on 07/07/21 and received voicemail". Brittany used the fax to update my estimate. It was only human nature I'd want to verify it. Since everything else had been wrong so far. On July 11th, I asked if she could email me a copy of the fee schedule. She said she couldn't because the fax cover sheet said it was confidential. That was the only time I asked her for it, from then on I only asked about specific codes. On July 13, I clarified by email and phone I was only asking about codes in my treatment plan. But later that day Brittany emailed a BS/BS rep that I wanted the entire fee schedule. I felt my request was intentionally misstated to insure the answer would be "NO". On the call she clearly resented me trying to verify the estimate was in the ballpark. When I asked if I could talk to the office manager she said, "That would be me". I hadn't made another appt so I was surprised to get another BC/BS Dental EOB. I'd made it clear I want to do my eight worst teeth first (lower molars/premolars). But for some reason she requested a Precertification Estimate for all 28 of my teeth. BC/BS says precertification isn't required so there wasn't any good reason to do it. They weren't going to pay for veneers and I only want to do my lower arch this year. My plan like most won't cover full-mouth rehab so the EOB Claim Status is DENIED. My lower molars/premolars are in bad shape and should've qualified for coverage. But this was thrown into doubt by being DENIED as part of the precertification. My chance for an expert to do the work ruined?

Dr Adams and Heather are amazing! I know Im always in good hands when I go for my checkups and actually dont dread going! They make me feel very comfortable and never leave without having a laugh!! Who knew going to the dentist would be fun!!!
