Ienjoy being an orthodontist because my profession allows me to form close relationships with my patients. I also enjoy seeing the transformation that occurs not only in the appearance of the patients teeth and smile, but also the increase in self-esteem that is created during the process. My favorite part of providing orthodontic treatmentis the big reveal when the braces come off.
First, I wassick a lot as a small child until my doctors discovered I had severe allergies and asthma. My allergist, Dr. Caplinger, had a profound impact on my life. Not only did he help me feel better physically, but he treated me with respect even as a five year old.His big personality also made visits to his office fun. His care inspired my interestin a healthcare profession.
I graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, AR. Ireceived my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lyon College in Batesville, AR. I attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where I receivedmy Doctorate of Dental Surgery and also completedmy orthodontic specialty degree in 2003.
In order to stay current onthe latest orthodontic research and trends, I regularly attend state and national orthodontic meetings. I also take part in numerous continuing education courses and am involved in a local dental study club with general dentists and other dentalspecialists in the Little Rock area.
My wife Leah and I have been married since 2014. She is also my office manager. We have two amazing Labrador Retrievers, Reagan and Briar. They are our 'children' as well as my duck hunting buddies. Reagan runs AKC and UKC hunt tests and holds several titles from each. While Briar may not be quite as talented as his sister, he is just as special in his own sweet way.
I spend mostof my free time outdoors - hunting, fishing, dog training, and hiking. Leah and I also love to travel. We always enjoy going to the beach, but our latest adventures have involved hiking and sightseeing in many of the National Parks. A few of our favorite parks are Glacier, Grand Teton, Bryce Canyon, andRocky Mountain National Park.
Leah and I are involved with our church and believe we are called to give back because of the blessings we have received in life. I have gone on five international mission tripsto Rio de Janeiro, Romania, and three trips to the Amazon jungle.
We are also very involved with foster children and have each mentored several teens in the foster care system. We volunteer with local organizations that work with foster children, including The CALL and Project Zero.

Dr. Timmons, on the other hand,believesthe foundationof proper orthodontic treatment iscreating teeth that fit together and function properly (the ideal bite). Creating the ideal bite means improved oral health, less long-term tooth wear, a decrease in the likelihood of future dental work needed, less stress on the jaw joint, and less potential TMJ problems.
Patients can have a prettysmile without the teeth fitting together properly, but at Timmons Orthodontics we give our patients an ideal bite while also giving them a beautiful smile they can be proud offor a lifetime!

As a 42 year old, I was very apprehensive about starting my orthodontic journey. I didn't want to be treated like a child, and I worried I really didn't need them. Dr. Timmons was very respectful and informative. He reassured me that I wasn't overthinking my need for braces. He is very thorough! Everyone in his office did their best to make my experience a positive one. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my teeth! I am moving my girls to his office for their retainer care because he and his staff have gained my trust!

My family has been very pleased with our experience with Timmons Orthodontics. I appreciate their honest approach and the fact they make it a family decision toward that perfect smile. We are always greeted with smiles from their friendly staff and provided with progress updates as needed throughout the process. And with me having twins who both required braces, the payment plan option was great. I would definitely recommend Dr. Timmons and his staff to anyone seeking orthodontic services.

They are very nice, personable, you're always welcomed with a smile and the wait is never long. I love Dr. Timmons and all of his staff! I knew from the first day I met him that we were in the right place. My daughter has had a pretty complex case with some stubborn teeth that just didn't want to come in. Dr. Timmons has guided us along the way with some pretty difficult decisions. I'm a very involved parent and I LOVE the way he involves parents in their care. While going to visits with my daughter, I decided I wasn't happy with some of the shifting of my teeth after wearing braces when I was a child. I am now in braces too and am so excited about the progress Dr. Timmons has made with them in just a short time. If you are looking for an honest orthodontist that believes in quality, that always treats his patients/family with kindness and always has a smile on his face, then I highly recommend Dr. Timmons!

Dr Timmons was my orthodontist for over 2 years and i have to say i couldnt be happier with the results. not only do i love my smile, but having straight teeth makes it easier to care for them, making it easier to stay in good health. not only did he and his team make sure my teeth looked amazing, but they are also such a nice and lively group of people. my appointments were often the highlight of my day. i highly, highly* recommend Timmons orthodontics
