Ienjoy being an orthodontist because my profession allows me to form close relationships with my patients. I also enjoy seeing the transformation that occurs not only in the appearance of the patients teeth and smile, but also the increase in self-esteem that is created during the process. My favorite part of providing orthodontic treatmentis the big reveal when the braces come off.
First, I wassick a lot as a small child until my doctors discovered I had severe allergies and asthma. My allergist, Dr. Caplinger, had a profound impact on my life. Not only did he help me feel better physically, but he treated me with respect even as a five year old.His big personality also made visits to his office fun. His care inspired my interestin a healthcare profession.
I graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, AR. Ireceived my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lyon College in Batesville, AR. I attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where I receivedmy Doctorate of Dental Surgery and also completedmy orthodontic specialty degree in 2003.
In order to stay current onthe latest orthodontic research and trends, I regularly attend state and national orthodontic meetings. I also take part in numerous continuing education courses and am involved in a local dental study club with general dentists and other dentalspecialists in the Little Rock area.
My wife Leah and I have been married since 2014. She is also my office manager. We have two amazing Labrador Retrievers, Reagan and Briar. They are our 'children' as well as my duck hunting buddies. Reagan runs AKC and UKC hunt tests and holds several titles from each. While Briar may not be quite as talented as his sister, he is just as special in his own sweet way.
I spend mostof my free time outdoors - hunting, fishing, dog training, and hiking. Leah and I also love to travel. We always enjoy going to the beach, but our latest adventures have involved hiking and sightseeing in many of the National Parks. A few of our favorite parks are Glacier, Grand Teton, Bryce Canyon, andRocky Mountain National Park.
Leah and I are involved with our church and believe we are called to give back because of the blessings we have received in life. I have gone on five international mission tripsto Rio de Janeiro, Romania, and three trips to the Amazon jungle.
We are also very involved with foster children and have each mentored several teens in the foster care system. We volunteer with local organizations that work with foster children, including The CALL and Project Zero.

Dr. Timmons and his staff are always friendly and great to deal with. My oldest daughter got braces put on and then pandemic hit causing a delay in her being able to get them off. She got them off just in time for us to go round two with little sister. Thanks Dr. Timmons and staff!!

Me and both of my older sisters all went to Dr. Timmons and he's the best! After 6+ years after getting our braces off our teeth still look as perfect as the day our braces came off. This business does meticulous work with kind service and a joyful atmosphere. After 6 years I went back today for a retainer adjustment and, like no time had passed, I remembered how much I appreciated this place. I could not emphasize enough how much I recommend Dr. Timmons!!

Three of our daughters were treated by Dr. Timmons and his amazing staff. Dr. Timmons goes above and beyond with every patient! He made sure to fill us in at every appointment of the progress the girls were making as well as the next steps. We highly recommend Timmons Orthodontics!

We are exceptionally happy with Dr. Timmons and his staff. My son has beautiful teeth and a correct bite after being in braces. Braces are always expensive but it was worth every penny. They really care about their patients and communication was always wonderful. They always worked with us for appointment times to minimize school absences. They are great with kids afraid of procedures or the braces themselves. Just a wonderful group of people. Completely satisfied! Thanks so much!

I cannot give a higher recommendation for Dr. Timmons and his staff. He is very thorough, conscientious, and precise...all the things you want in an orthodontist. He walks you (and in my instance, my children) through the entire process step by step. He and his staff have always been helpful literally every step of the way and answer every single question along the way. And, trust me. I ask all manner of questions, and they answered them all...all the time. So, when faced with trying to decide who should be fixing you or your child's orthodontic issue or issues ...pick Dr. Timmons....just do it.

I've always wanted braces ever since I was little due to my bad overbite and crowding of the teeth. Thanks to Dr. Timmons I love my smile more than ever !! Dr. Timmons has made the experience of braces a profoundly easy one. His easy-going style belies the quiet confidence and competence in all that he does. We always knew the plan and there were never any unexpected or unnecessary activities or expenses. Dr. Timmons was true to his word and contract. On top of it all, his office staff was always flexible and easy to work with in terms of payment arrangements. Most of all, especially in this day and age, when customer service is at a premium and seemingly gone, we truly felt we have made a friend. Our daughter is comfortable enough to banter with him and truly appreciates his "bedside" manner. His dedication to ensuring we received the result we wanted and paid for is refreshing. We are very appreciative and grateful for our experience with Dr. Timmons and cannot recommend him enough to any future patients and their families. At age 65 I was told I needed braces (yes, I did have them 50 plus years ago at age 13.). Back then I was not told I would need to wear my retainer for the rest of my life. Now, after two short years of treatment by Dr Timmons, my braces are off and I feel pretty! Dr Timmons and his staff were always professional and friendly. I was made a partner during the entire treatment. Explanations of what was happening or going to occur were clear and did much to relieve any questions I had. Now I know I must wear the retainer for the rest of my life and am gladly doing so. During COVID I could see them going an extra mile to protect themselves and the patients. I know all the precautions must have been exhausting but I never heard or discerned any complaint about the PPE. All of the staff were great. I would recommend his services to everyone.

Dr. Timmons is the best out there. My son had a server over bite that caused him a lot of pain when eating. Dr. Timmons took the time to hear him out and made a plan to correct the issue. Today my son got his braces off and he is extremely happy with his new smile. Thank you Dr. Timmons and staff.

I started off as a extern at this amazing place. While I was doing my extern and observing everything this place had to offer. I immediately wanted to get my teeth fixed. I was amazed by all the beautiful teeth I kept seeing and all the happy faces. I had previous family go other places and leave disappointed, because there teeth where not looking so great. Dr. Timmons is a awesome person he will keep working on your teeth until they have reached almost perfection! I waited patiently and I was more then amazed with the results of my teeth. They look expectacular!!!!!!!!!! If you are looking to get braces go to Dr. Timmons he will not disappoint!!!! I promise you take my word for it! Not only is Dr. Timmons a wonderful Ortho, but all his staff is great and they go out there way to try to make you feel like home. Thank you Dr. Timmons for my wonderful teeth. Best decision I ever made was coming to you. Seriously STOP looking for other orthodontist! The right one to go to is Dr. Timmons!
