After spending his childhood in Idaho Falls, Dr. Jon Hastings completed his undergraduate education at Idaho State University. He then went on to the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Hastings then completed one year of additional training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. He has maintained this commitment to continuing education ever since to provide the quality care you and your family members deserve.
He is also a graduate of the Kois Center for dental learning and the Hands-On Training Dental Implant Residency with Dr. Ken Hebel. He is in the process of completing courses through Frank Spear Dental Education. To further improve your quality of care, Dr. Hastings also invests in state-of-the-art dental technology.
He has been practicing in Boise, ID since 1997. Dr. Hastings enjoys all phases of dentistry. His main focus is getting to know the wonderful people he serves and making sure you understand your dental needs and the options available to you.
Dr. Hastings has been married to his wife, Peggy, for 25 years and they have four kids: three daughters and one son. He loves living in Boise and enjoys all that the Ada County area has to offer. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, snowboarding, playing drums, and participating with his kids and their activities.
I have been in dentistry for over 30 years. I went to Boise State University for Dental Assisting and assisted for over 15 years before moving to the front office. I have 2 beautiful daughters who are married and have given me 6 beautiful grandchildren. In my off time I love doing anything that involves my dog, Lucy. I also enjoy golfing, working in the yard, yoga, and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been in dentistry for over 20 years. I love working in this field, we have some great patients. Times Square Dental and Jon Hastings are the best dental office I have ever worked in. Jon is a kind and compassionate dentist and a really fun person to work for. In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy boating, ATV riding and of course spending time with our beautiful grandchildren.
My Name is Monica, aka Nica. I have been a dental assistant for 17 years and have enjoyed working with Jon for the past 14 years. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys ages 8 and 11. We all like to go to our cabin, camping, razor dirt bike riding and anything outdoors.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Idaho State University and have been a dental Hygienist for 35 years. I enjoy providing care for patients and being part of the Times Square Dental Team. I grew up in Southern California but have been in Idaho now for 14 years. I graduated Hygiene school from Carrington College in Boise. I have a 1 year old son, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, & outdoor activities.
I have been a hygienist for 11 years and was a dental assistant for 7 years prior to that. I was born and raised in Idaho. I live in Mtn. Home with my husband. We have 4 children ages 14, 10, 7 and 5, and we have 3 dogs. I enjoy golfing, boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Times Square Dental is the best! Dr. Hastings and his staff are very friendly, caring and helpful. They take the time to explain the procedures and options while addressing all of your questions and concerns. I brought my mother in to see Dr. Hastings with a loose bridge. He took the time to show me how loose both sides of the bridge was. That helped us make the correct decision for her circumstance. I absolutely recommend Times Square Dental!!

I had a semi-emergency around some persistent pain. I was seen within a few hours of asking for an appointment and my symptoms were checked out. Dr. Hastings is always attentive, thorough and frank. Every person in the office with whom I have interacted for five plus years has been professional, pleasant and helpful. I feel confident in and well served by this practice with its state of the art diagnostics, and caring staff. I highly recommend them.

Dr hastings and his staff are wonderful. In an age where there is a dentist on every corner, these guys really separate themselves from the rest. He is even fixing some issues that had not been taken care of well by my previous provider. Five stars!!

Great experience overall. Very thorough, always on time and extremely personable. Most may not enjoy their dentistry experiences but I highly recommend this office to everyone. You won't find a better place! Dr. Hastings has great bedside manner and his staff is friendly and courteous. There's good energy at this office which gives me the confidence to trust in their work.

Absolutely fantastic experience with these guys! I'm terrified of the dentist, but definitely needed work done on my mouth! With all that was needed, the staff did a fantastic job making sure they took things step by step and never made me feel nervous. Each time I'd leave, I had a full expectation and understanding of what the NEXT appointment would be for. They were also very timely with each appointment. They made me feel comfortable, they made it fun, and I would most certainly recommend them to anyone else in the area! If you're someone like me who gets anxiety sitting in a dental chair, then this is the place to go! Not saying you won't be nervous, but they'll take care of you and have you feeling confident when all is said and done!

I lost a filling and was in considerable pain. Dr Hastings and his staff responded to my voicemail outside of regular business hours to squeeze me in. I arrived and was taken right back. No waiting! Within 5 minutes of being in the chair I was out of pain. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could... highly recommend. Thanks Times Square Dental!

Seriously the best dental experience of my life. Every staff member had a contaigously positive attitude, totally attentive to detail and professional. Dr Hastings is not only a great dentist he is a super cool guy the kind you want to hang out with. He makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you. I am new to Dr. Hastings and his staff. I had a consult appointment in January that went very well. I just had my first regular dental exam/cleaning with Dr. Hastings and Erin. From Dawn at the front, to Erin, to another young lady (so sorry I didn't catch a name) to Dr. Hastings, my experience was very good. Everyone is so friendly, caring and welcoming. It really means a lot to me. I feel I have found my dental family!
