I met my wife (and co-owner of Timber Dental), Dr. Molly, in Omaha, Nebraska while we were in dental school together. If Im not working, its a safe bet that Im fishing or foraging on the coast with my family.
I am an Oregonian through and through! Born and raised in the Bethany area, I went on to attend OSU and then OHSU for dental school. I live in North Plains now with my wife and two daughters! We love taking advantage of the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer and are big Blazer and Beaver fans!
I love to explore Oregon with my family, to garden/grow things in my little suburban backyard, and to create (relatively) healthy, kid-approved, 30-minute recipes(especially Korean and Indian foods). When I retire, my dream is to have a little farm!
I was born and raised in NE Georgia, where I gained an appreciation for the mountains, water, adventure, yall, biscuits, and sweet tea. I have an amazing partner, Hailey, and a gold retriever, Nova.I love to play outside! Rock climbing, skiing, mountaineering, trail running, hiking, and backpacking are my favorites.
Dr. Choti was born in Thailand, moved to the US when he was 8, grew up in California and graduated dental school in San Francisco. He enjoys reading, walking around the neighborhood, cooking, and going to thrift stores.
Dr. Beinlich grew up outside Chicago. During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, jogging, and playing tennis. She loves to travel and she is constantly exploring the outdoors.
Dr. Will grew up in Detroit, MI and moved to the PNW last year. He went to undergrad at Michigan State University and dental school at the University of Detroit. Since hes moved here, hes gotten into disc golf and plays three to four days a week. He enjoys going to concerts and local shows.
Dr. McCunniff and his wife moved to Oregon because they love the outdoors and the ability to have spontaneous weekend adventures to the mountains, coast, or to a good breakfast place. He also enjoys camping, skiing, hiking, and golf.
Dr. Faraz grew up in Northern Virginia and worked as dental assistant before pursuing a career as a dentist! She moved to Chicago for dental school where she met her husband. They love the PNW and they are thrilled to be in Portland!
Dr Lin is an Oregon native, a graduate of OSU and then OSHU dental school. She is bi-lingual, speaking Mandarin fluently. She loves to go for walks with her fianc (weather permitting), but otherwise loves to binge watch cooking shows on a cold rainy day. Dr Lin is passionate about cosmetic dentistry, as well as implants. She is excited to help you transform your smile!

My first few appointments here were great but the quality of the care has really slipped. On my last visit, one attendant cleaned my teeth so poorly that the next attendant took a look and decided to finish the job (despite that not being her role), there was some kind of mixup where they pulled up charts for the wrong patient and started diagnosing care based on a mouth that wasn't mine, and when that was resolved and the dentist (someone I'd never been treated by before) finally came in to take a look at my mouth he advised I go in on several non-urgent (and expensive, surprise surprise) treatments which - oh how convenient! - the clinic was offering a limited-time deal on. I don't know what happened over there but it feels like they're now dealing with a lot of new employees and pressure to generate high revenues - I'm switching to a new practice.

Going to the dentist is never the most fun, but I've had nothing but amazing experiences at Timbef Dental! This last time I went, Rose was the assistant and they were incredibly sweet and fun to talk to. They offered me a blanket while I got my filling done, and they even tucked me in so I was extra comfy cozy! :) Great team working there!!!

Absolutely amazing experience and level of attentiveness was outstanding. I was waiting for months to get into a doctor for a consultation. Dr. Choti had me in and out for both consultation and emergency root canal within a period of 3 days. 10 out of 10

Too much hassle, rude office staff, so I had to stop coming here. They try to run the place like a impersonal factory -- fair enough, I'm busy too -- but they keep randomly cancelling appointments, some made months in advance, and with less than a day's notice. It's their time, not yours. I once called to complain but the office manager made it clear that it wasn't her problem.

Awkward. They couldn't figure out my insurance and had me sit for 30 minutes past the appointment time. Not sure why they couldn't have just done the cleaning and figured it out later? Finally realized I wasn't welcome, and left. Won't be back.

All the dentists and staff are really nice and don't tsk tsk you for not flossing or brushing the wrong way or something. They work with you and give you a good plan to get what your want/need done.

Rose and Dr. Leo were top notch! I usually go somewhere else but had an emergency crown situation and I was able to be seen the same day (so thankful for that) at Timber Dental. Rose and Dr. Leo were very informative, kind, patient with my questions and overall very pleasant to be around as I was having an emergency crown replacement on a chipped front tooth. Needless to say the insurance the Timber Dental offered is pretty affordable so now I am a patient of theirs. I have already recommended this dental group to my friends and coworkers and am very thankful for the care I received at Timber Dental. Thank you again.

The whole experience was great, from start to finish. Everyone is very friendly and I feel comfortable throughout the process. It's a nice touch to have the tv on the ceiling to watch something while they work. I'm terrible at names but the male assistant I had was great, very sociable and outgoing. I also greatly appreciate having a later appointment (5:30pm) during the week since I work during normal dentist hours. I will say the parking garage in the building needs to extend the hours for the gate closure those days. They close at 7pm and I finished around 7:30. I had to be let in through the back. I don't think this is the fault of the dental office - just needs communication with the parking/building management. I would recommend this dentist to friends.
