Dr. Andrei Ionescu grew up in Michigan where he pursued his undergraduate education from Michigan State University. He then trained for his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Chicago.
He continues to attend post-graduate courses to stay up to date on the latest dental technology, including facets of cosmetic and restorative dentistry and new techniques of oral surgery and endodontics. He also pursues extensive coursework in dental implant surgery. Dr. Andrei has volunteered in Kenya, Dominican Republic and Mission of Mercy to make a positive impact for those in need.
He enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking and skiing, as well as cheering on the Michigan State Spartan teams. He also spent time overseas to become certified in mindfulness and yoga instruction. After spending most of his life in Michigan, he is happy to call North Denver metro his home in the last few years and continues to serve as an active member of the community.

Shortly thereafter I joined the Timber Dental family. I have been a certified dental assistant since 2012 and cross-trained as an EDDA. I love working in the dental field and aspire to be a dental hygienist. My job presents differently on a day-to-day basis but patient experience is a priority to me, and I work hard to ensure everyone feels comfortable in our office with my calming demeanor. Hello! I am a Colorado native and lived in this beautiful state for 24 years before I moved to Austin Texas where I worked mainly in the hospitality industry. I moved back to my home state in April of 2021. I knew I wanted to try something different outside of the hospitality industry and came upon Timber Dental Care and was welcomed right away. This Dental office and every person who works here is absolutely amazing. I called with extreme tooth pain and they got me in within a couple of hours. The front office girls were so sweet and helpful. Then, when I got in the chair, I was treated with so much kindness it made me feel so welcome. I found out from the wonderful dentist that he could save my tooth and he could actually do it right then and there! This team was just awesome. I will be going back for all of my dental needs. And I would refer all my friends and family to this office. I can't say Thank You enough .

Just met the team at timber dental care. Their technology looked modern and impressive. The staff was definitely very friendly and informative. I loved their availability and flexibility as well.

My husband was in unbelievable pain we Google dental energy and Timber dental was first we click on it the office was closed BUT the message gave us the doctors number he called us back asap and help that day with a reassurance with medication and a doctors appointment the following morning and we showed up that morning he did exactly what he said he was going to do thank you Dr.Andrei you and ALL your staff are sweet angels they Comfort me and my husband I'm saying this with tears you all are a blessing thank you

The staff once again went above and beyond!! Huge thank you to Dr. Andre, Angie, Paige and Jasmine!! They made my sure my visit was great from start to finish by ensuring my comfort every step of the way. One of the team members even took a field trip to pick up parts needed to complete the procedure I was being seen for!!! Another wonderful visit, thank you so much to the whole team !!!

This facility is amazing! From the time I walked in until I left, I felt a comfort zone. The staff was very pleasant to me and made me feel very comfortable. I usually put off dentist visits due to bad experiences and extreme anxiety, but I'm very happy to have visit Timber Dental Care today. Everyone was very kind and friendly as soon as I stepped into the building. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process, and it eased my anxiety by a lot. Dr. Andrei Ionescu is phenomenal! He and the office team are exactly who we were looking for. Dr. Ionescu is extremely personable, thorough, knowledgeable and patient. He took his time and made sure we felt at ease the whole time. The hygienist are fantastic. They were very gentle and kind. Finally I found a place where I can see the same dentist and hygienist every visit. There is a family friendly intimate atmosphere here that use to be a staple in offices when I was growing up. So happy to have found Dr. Ionescu and his team!

I'm not a person who leaves bad reviews, I believe in human error, but this has been the worst experience at a dental business. 1. I came in to have my bite checked as one of my composite veneers came off. The dentist looked at it and said that it looked fine and that the lil piece was probably unnecessary/temporary. It wasn't, but what surprised me the most was that they didn't even checked on my bite with an Articulation paper. (I'm paying for consultation $120+) that's the least they could do. Not X-ray was taken even though it was part of the consultation. He just looked at it for a few seconds and that was it. 2. The last thing I want to do is to handshake with all your staff. I had to shake hands with two of the receptionists, assistant and the dentist, extremely awkward after and during a pandemic. My only thoughts were to use hand sanitizer ASAP. 3. My appointment was at 2 p.m. I had to wait for an hour and they didn't care to let me know that it was going to take awhile. I have a busy schedule and my time also matters. 4. I got asked where I was from 4 times. Sure you see someone that doesn't look white, you are curious due to your lack of knowledge but I didn't come in to talk about my heritage, or where I was "really" from. Completely inappropriate. 5. To top it all off, when I left the assistant asked: Do you know how to get a hold of your dentist? Didn't know how to respond to that...I said, I'll try to call her. Talked to my dentist, she thought they were negligent to not even check on my occlusion. A composite veneer came off, which can happen when they are readjusting your bite. Everything felt fake, as if they were craving the 5 star review only, instead of providing good service. Not fake smiles, multiple handshakes, meaningless conversation that end in "That's nice..." "that's cool..." when I wasn't saying anything cool nor nice. It was like being in a black mirror episode. Worst $100 wasted for just 1 minute of your valuable time.

So I have had 3 dentist over the years and unfortunately it just didn't work out so I neglected going to the dentist for the past 10 years, needless to say my teeth got really bad and so after a deep cleaning by a wonderful hygienist Dr Andrei went to work preparing my teeth for 10 crowns which was completed today and they look and feel amazing. I am finally pain free for the first time in well over a year. I have truly found the best dentist and staff to work with for the rest of my life. Thank you all for being so kind in a difficult situation.

I had went to comfort dental earlier in the day. I was told I needed surgery, the earliest they could get me in was in two weeks. I was really in pain, I called timber dental. I relaid My story to them and how desperate and in pain I was They got me in two hours later. from the moment I walked in the door the staff was there to help me and make me comfortable.
