Timber Dental was originally founded in Northeast Portland in 2014. Weve since expanded to additional locations in Bethany, Sherwood, East Burnside, and Downtown Portland. Timber Dental isnt your typical dentist office. Were changing the face of dentistry in Portland. Experience it for yourself.
Our mission is simple. We serve smiles from the outside in (with awesome dental care), but we also do it from the inside out through customer service, good coffee, free Wi-Fi, Netflix and TVs available during your treatment, and more.

I met my wife (and co-owner of Timber Dental), Dr. Molly, in Omaha, Nebraska while we were in dental school together. If Im not working, its a safe bet that Im fishing or foraging on the coast with my family.
I am an Oregonian through and through! Born and raised in the Bethany area, I went on to attend OSU and then OHSU for dental school. I live in North Plains now with my wife and two daughters! We love taking advantage of the beauty that the Pacific Northwest has to offer and are big Blazer and Beaver fans!
I love to explore Oregon with my family, to garden/grow things in my little suburban backyard, and to create (relatively) healthy, kid-approved, 30-minute recipes(especially Korean and Indian foods). When I retire, my dream is to have a little farm!
I was born and raised in NE Georgia, where I gained an appreciation for the mountains, water, adventure, yall, biscuits, and sweet tea. I have an amazing partner, Hailey, and a gold retriever, Nova.I love to play outside! Rock climbing, skiing, mountaineering, trail running, hiking, and backpacking are my favorites.
Dr. Choti was born in Thailand, moved to the US when he was 8, grew up in California and graduated dental school in San Francisco. He enjoys reading, walking around the neighborhood, cooking, and going to thrift stores.
Dr. Beinlich grew up outside Chicago. During her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, jogging, and playing tennis. She loves to travel and she is constantly exploring the outdoors.
Dr. Will grew up in Detroit, MI and moved to the PNW last year. He went to undergrad at Michigan State University and dental school at the University of Detroit. Since hes moved here, hes gotten into disc golf and plays three to four days a week. He enjoys going to concerts and local shows.
Dr. McCunniff and his wife moved to Oregon because they love the outdoors and the ability to have spontaneous weekend adventures to the mountains, coast, or to a good breakfast place. He also enjoys camping, skiing, hiking, and golf.
Dr. Faraz grew up in Northern Virginia and worked as dental assistant before pursuing a career as a dentist! She moved to Chicago for dental school where she met her husband. They love the PNW and they are thrilled to be in Portland!
Dr Lin is an Oregon native, a graduate of OSU and then OSHU dental school. She is bi-lingual, speaking Mandarin fluently. She loves to go for walks with her fianc (weather permitting), but otherwise loves to binge watch cooking shows on a cold rainy day. Dr Lin is passionate about cosmetic dentistry, as well as implants. She is excited to help you transform your smile!

Pros: The front desk and hygienist were very friendly. The online scheduling was easy. It was nice to be given the option to watch Netflix, and the warm towel to wipe my face at the end was a very nice touch. Cons: the dentist was only involved for what seemed like 30 seconds, so that was kind of weird. Overall I was happy with my experience.

Nice staff. All the latest in x-rays, etc... Netflix on the ceiling.. Lol. I hadn't been to the dentist since pre-covid. I am happy my insurance company offered this dental office. It is a complete upgrade, from my prior experience at another office. I will be back

I did my teeth cleaning in both the downtown branch and the Bethany branch. The staff, the nurses and the doctors were incredibly resourceful and patient! Highly recommend!

Dr. Gerritz, was fantastic. I had to have a root canal done, so not an ordinary visit. I was not in pain for any portion of the procedure. I was completely impressed with him and the staff as well. Reason for 3 stars??? Parking. Trying to find somewhere to park here is beyond laughable. I question the sanity of choosing this office space for a dental office. I had to park 3 blocks away and walk in. To some this might not be a huge thing. To me, I hate frustrations like this, so after my current work is done I will have to consider if I will return to have more work done. That is a shame because the office experience was fantastic.

I've found my new dental home, Bethany Timber Dental exceeded my expectations! Everyone was accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and welcoming. Dr. Kristy Lin and Anna were simply amazing, and worked hard to meet all my dental needs. Erina is an exceptionally gentle Hygienist, and I look forward to seeing her in 6 mos. Cindi did my cleaning and she was super gentle and reassuring. I'm not a fan of the dentist and she definitely calmed me down and made me feel welcome! I'll see her every time.

Another great dental experience at Timber Dental Bethany office. The staff was friendly as usual. Our recent appointments were for cleanings and the process was very efficient ... got checked in, got my teeth cleaned with fluoride treatment and had a consultation with the dentist all in under an hour. Also got to watch a HDTV show while I was getting my teeth cleaned. I chose the ultrasonic cleaning option (because it does a good deep cleaning) but it has a really high pitch so I need to remember to bring my noise canceling headphones to my next cleaning appointment. When I was done, I went into the debrief area and received a thorough explanation of the work completed during my appointment and recommended next steps discussed with the dentist, including costs associated with the future dental work.

The personnel were very friendly, professional, and provided excellent services. In addition to my primary reason for visiting, which was general cleanup, they also gave me the options to fix all other minor issues that they found with my teeth right away. For major ones, I was scheduled to come back and get those ones fixed. I will definitely recommend this dental clinic to others.
